View Full Version : Still Losing Blood

Talked with my Mom and she had 2 pints of blood added on Friday. I'm so disappointed (as she is). We thought the surgery she had in November would have stopped this blood loss.

Her Dr. in Florida is sending her to a kidney Dr. down there. I told her to be careful and let this Dr. know you have a kidney Dr. here. That she should make sure the two Drs. concur on the treatment.

We know her kidneys aren't functioning the way they should so she will most likely have to go on dialysis before too long. She's not thrilled. I wish she was back home so I can make sure what's going on. She gets a little flustered and does whatever the Drs. say. I always question..I want to have as much info as I can.

Please continue to keep her in your prayers, it would mean so much to me.:)

I'm so sorry about your Mom, Janet. I know that both of you were so happy that the bleeding had stopped and now you find out that there's still a problem. I'll be praying.

Thanks all. I talked with her today. She said she's feeling much better, but to me she sounded so tired. I don't know. It's hard to know what is really going on with her down there, but she's not planning on coming home anytime soon.

I'm so sorry Janet. You were so happy when the bleeding was under control. My prayers are with you and Mom.

I know how much you want her home. It would be easier for you, but she likes it there, and she is stubborn! I'm still sorry that you have even more anxiety since she's not home.
