Got up with a splitting headache this morning and hubby has a bad chest cold. Would really like to have just one lazy day to not have to do something or go somewhere, but guess I'd better get going. Have to leave here in about an hour for the morning commute.
At least it's not so cold outside this morning. It's 50 and supposed to warm up to 70. The ten day forecast shows highs in the 60's and 70's for the next 10 days. No excitement here weather wise. Looks like it will be a snowless year for us. It did snow one year on Valentines, though. Very strange.
Don't feel obligated to post on this. I know this thread is going nowhere.
Y'all have an awesome day!!!!!

Marilyn, you are so funny...what do you mean don't feel obligated to post???? We all post at anything and everything, you know that...LOLOL
I've been waking up with a slight headache ever since the puppies were born. I'm so afraid of heating pads and such so I use these heaters to heat up our bedroom and it's just too darn hot. I like sleeping when it's cold.
It's suppose to be up to 52 degrees here today and then drop back down below freezing again. I want warmer weather so bad. I'm tired of bulky coats, tracking mud in and the like. I really would like to move to Texas or Georgia, but hubby and son wouldn't. So I'm stuck in Indiana.

Marilyn, I'm so sorry you and hubby aren't feeling well. Like Janet, I've been having headaches recently as well. It's definitely not fun. I hope you feel better asap!

Marilyn, I'm sorry that you still have a headache after not feeling well last week and now hubby is getting something. You guys are sure getting more than your share of not feeling good. Why don't you just pick up something for supper tonight on your way home and then just spend the evening relaxing and taking care of yourselves?
Janet, you're waking up with a headache since you've put a little heater in your room? That kinda' disturbs me. Maybe you need to open the door to your room or a window, just a little. Does your husband have a headache when he wakes up too? Please be careful.
I have a really good friend that was telling us yesterday that her son woke up to a monoxide alarm going off in their home the other night and that somehow their propane had leaked into their home. He and his wife had really bad headaches. I don't know how a monoxide alarm went off with propane but it's a miracle that they're alive!!!

Headache got much better. I took a shower and then colapsed on the bed with a heating pad for a while. I was late to work, but oh well.
I am stopping off and picking up supper on the way home. I'm getting a flu shot, too. Haven't done this yet, and according to the news, Texas, Colorado and one other state are hot spots for flu right now.
Hubby thinks he just has a sinus infection and chest congestion. He did get a flu shot in November. He's moving his office this week so he worked about half a day moving stuff and then took off to get some rest. I worry about him so much when he's sick. It seems to get more critical with him. He was a very heavy smoker before quitting 10 year ago, and I think there is still some lung damage or something that makes colds worse for him.
We're fine actually, just the usual minor things for the most part. Hoping all of you are well!! and stay well!!
There was something on the news about most people being congested in the winter, even if they're not sick. Lots of headaches are from that. It's from the heat in our homes, then going out to the cold, and so on.
You sound sick though Marilyn. I hope you both feel better.
Marilyn hope you and hubby feel better real soon. It's just miserable when it hits you and your head hurts and whatnot.. Go to bed early at least try. We have been having nice weather to, suppose to warm up next few days. And never say never about this being a snowless winter , it can happen on EASTER as it has in the past....lol
Diana I am so happy that your friends son and wife is alive.. That must have been scaring...

Don't worry Diana, I'm always afraid of heaters too...LOL. This doesn't give off any fumes or anything at all dangerous. It's just that I'm use to sleeping in temps of low 60's and I've got the heat up in our bedroom to 78 degrees because of the puppies. Once I get out of there and outside, I feel soooo much better and the headache goes away quickly without taking anything for it.
Oh I forgot, I put a big pot of water on top of the heater and even though it was still hotter than the dickens...I didn't wake up with a headache this morning. I think it was just too dry in there.
