View Full Version : See y'all on Friday
I hope I caught up on everything. My daughter and my youngest grandchild, Kassidy are coming down to NYC this afternoon. I'm going to pick them up in the city - hope I dont get a ticket!
Jessie has a court case in Staten Island tomorrow. She has been trying to get disability since she was diagnosed with MS and is going to Appellate Court. Then, we're going back up to her house. I'm staying till Thursday. I'm teaching again on Saturdays, and need to pick up some papers there on Friday.
See you then! Have a good week,

Judy, hope Jessie's appeal is successful!!! Have a wonderful time. Lord willing, we will be here when you return!!
I'm baaack! I had a wonderful visit, and really relaxed this time. My grandchildren are a delight. Kassidy got to sleep over at my house! She was so good! She wasn't feeling well though and finally was able to throw up on the way home - into a McDonald's kids meal box! It didn't even get all over the car!
I got to sleep with Mackenzie, my 10 year old, both nights. I always have to sleep with the 2 little ones, but my daughter and I worked it out. Mackenzie is a "tween" so there's stuff to talk about!
Brandon, my 6 year old is so proud! He's beginning to get body odor under his armpits - if you dig your nose in real deep, you can smell it. We do the dance of joy each time I find it. He gives the best hugs - they're from his sweet little heart.
They got another puppy! They're going to try breeding Malamutes, God willing.
Takaani is her name, and she is such a good natured little baby. Her breeder sent her at 7 weeks with a driver! I have very serious doubts about this breeder, but after I gently mentioned that 12 weeks is the age to take a puppy, I shut my mouth.
They now have 5 dogs and I have to say I just love each one of them.
I have to catch up with you guys - but now that we have all you newbies (:cheer:)
it's a daunting task.
Tomorrow!

Glad that you're back, Judy! It sounds like your time with your grandchildren just gets more interesting each time you go and see them.........smelling armpits? Funny thing is that I can see my grandson doing the same thing when he gets older!!!
I'm not sure how big malamute puppies are but I know that labradors can be separated from their mothers by about 7-8 weeks old. In fact one of my husband's training books for labs recommended 7 weeks and that was when we got Shada. Yorkies have to wait until they're bigger mostly because of blood sugar problems, I think. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that 7 weeks might not be too early for malamutes.
Thanks for that info Diana. She does seem quite happy, and made herself part of the pack with no problem.
