Just finished this blanket for a friend. I thought it was too plain until I got to the border. I think it adds such a nice touch.

That is beautiful!!!!!! It's one that you could make ahead and add either a pink or blue border as needed. I'm sure your friend will feel very special to receive it!!

Count on it Becky....I'd love to make you and your baby a blanket. :love-hug3: Don't tell Thelma though she wants a regular size blanket and I haven't found the time yet. :eek:

Your blanket is really beautiful. I never learned to make things like that. Your friend is going to love it.

That will be such a nice gift. I have some blankets that were made for my kids when they were born and I kept them because they were such thoughtful gifts. I'm sure that she'll love it.

What a beautiful blanket, like Diana I have some blankets, sweater sets that were made for my children. I have them put away for their children they are really beautiful to pass down.

that is beautiful! i remember at my baby shower, i charished the gifts people made for me more than the purchased gifts. my sister made me two blankets, and i'll keep them forever...
