My oldest dd is a nurse, so she works weekends, holidays, and so on. Because of this and the fact that she lives just over an hour away I never get to see near enough of her or the grandbabies.
She is also a girl scout leader for her oldest dd's troop, and since it's cookie time, they have over 300 boxes of GS cookies to deliver. Since many of her friends and family live in my area, her and the girls are coming up tomorrow and staying over with us till Sunday to get cookies delivered. I am looking SO forward to this!
Yeahhhhhhhhh I get to see my girls! :D

Tink how wonderful!!! I can feel your excitement in your post. I agree, I would love to see pictures of your daughter and granddaughters. She sure did good selling those cookies, must have her grandmothers warm personality!

CoyoteQueen, I'm one of those notorious Labradoodle breeders. I have 2 reg standard poodles, 2 reg labs and an f1 labradoodle right now. The poodles are both males, the others are female. If all goes according to plan I will have a new litter in mid April, so I'm really looking forward to that!
For the benefit of those whe aren't familiar with Labradoodles, they were originally designed as service/therapy dogs for people who are allergic to most dog breeds. The combination of lab and poodle has proven to create very smart, healthy, often hypo-allergenic dogs that shed far less than a lab yet are much less expensive and time consuming to groom than a pure poodle. While there are some who are appalled at the idea of crossing 2 different breeds, this one started out with a very specific goal in mind and proved to be an excellent pet besides. Quite seriously, this is how ALL our known and accepted breeds began...
As to how they look...
2684 This is snuggles, a 5 month old female still growing her mature coat. She is out of 2 of my dogs.
2685 This is Dakota, a mature male who belongs to a friend of mine.

Tink, soooo happy for you!!!!! It's great when your girls come to visit. It's a rare occasion for us this weekend, both our girls came down yesterday and it was wonderful going out to eat with them last night. The 4 of us were together again even for just a short time.

oh how cute! I can't wait to have grandkids... well, I can since my oldest is only 15, but anyway... they are adorable. and if they have extra thin mints, they can send them to me. I already ate all the ones my mom bought for me. :eek:

Unless you posted elsewhere Tink......HOW DID THE WEEKEND GO????? Hope you all had a great time! We missed you at the birthday party, but we understood.
Janet, I felt bad missing the party!
I had a house full of company since Berry and the girls had arrived and Joel and Shannon's moving party used our house for meals and breaks. I hope you all had a lot of fun!

I missed the party, too. Both our girls were home this weekend and I'm afraid we got a bit caught up in what was going on here. Hope y'all had a wonderful time, and Tink, how you enjoyed all the activity at your house!!!

Yes Tink, you were discussed at the party,... lol. We were missing you and some were wondering where you were, but we let them know having your family was way more important. We'll be doing it again soon, I'm sure.

Yep the party was fun and I went to it with pain and all...lol wouldn't miss it!
