I did cheat last week (2 cheeseburger dinners), but again gained 0.6 lbs, which is what I gained 2 weeks ago. I hung out to speak with my leader. She said to try switching around the content of my diet.
I have to have 6 points of milk, 2 points of oil, 6-8 points of carbs, 4 points of protein and 2 points of fruit/day. I'm allergic to milk and I have no idea why I didn't tell her! I think I was so upset I went blank.
I've lost 2.4 pounds total in 6 weeks. I only wanted to lose 10 pounds total, and only have 18 points/day. I told her that I really don't want to maintain this rigid a diet after I lose. She said not to worry about it - they'll add points when I reach my goal. My real goal is just to get rid of the "muffin top" I've developed this year.
I don't know how many pounds it will take. It's smaller, but not gone yet.
I'm not happy! But, I had an apple and about 2 big tablespoons of fat free cottage cheese for lunch. It was really good I'm going to substitute fat free cheddar cheese for the slice of bread I have in the morning. I already take a flax seed oil pill every day, so maybe I'll take another one.
It's really hard when there's just a little bit to lose. I had an easier time losing 30 pounds 6 years ago!
