One thing I thought was strange was that some of the options were unique to the Northeast and Texas. How strange is that??? Gina, around here, a popular prank is for teenagers to "paper" someone's yard. They toss toilet paper rolls in the trees, shrubs, everywhere during the night. They unroll over everything. The dew makes it stick, so you wake up to quite a mess in the morning. We've, fortunately never had it happen to us. We've had our cars egged and had to go the the carwash first thing, but never been papered. Both activities are considered malicious mischief and are misdimenors.

Diana, you are right, if this gets out, I'm in a world of hurt!!! I'd probably get papered!!

We call it TP-ing up here. That stands for toilet paper-ing! There's another question for their survey!!

Actually the kids have a new one that they do now. It's called forking. They get a lot of cheap plastic forks and stand them up all over a person's yard. Our youth pastor has had it done several times. Each time the finger has been pointed to my daughter, imagine that!! She's only been involved once, I think. We always get blamed for any pranks that are played!

I can't believe you would even think of doing this!!!! And I thought you were my friends!!! :o

Forking would never work around here, the Saint Augustine grass is too deep, the forks would get lost. There is a church youth group in the area that will put pink flamingo's in someone's yard for a fee. The go back and pick them up and recycle them.

I don't think I even know what a snipe is.

DianaB

It's suppose to be a bird. What they do is you're given a broom and a paper sack and shown how to sweep the bird into the sack. Then you're taken out in the country and left to catch the bird while everyone else drives off. It's not a very nice trick and we've never done it to anyone, but we knew someone who had done it. We've done some tricks on people but they are so mean I wouldn't even want you to know that my family would even do something that awful!!!

Janet

LOLOL I read post #24 and thought to myself "wonder if they ever went snipe hunting" and then the next post (wouldn't you know it would be Diana..lol) suggests just that.

I've been in on a snipe hunt before. We never left them for very long. We may have been onry, but we were compassionate..lol.

I can't believe I've never heard of that before. I think it would be kind of funny if you only left the person for a few minutes.

Did I tell how to do it right? I only remember one person talking about it and I think that I had it correct according to them. I'm sure that there are lots of other versions of snipe hunting.

57% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category.

Don't know how that happened - I've spent my life in Brooklyn!

I really want to go cow tipping! I think that's hysterical. (Poor cows though). I like the forking idea too, but the toilet papering - nah.
