I bet that you guys thought that I was just hiding!!! Nope, it's been a couple of very different days for me. I had mentioned briefly that I needed a new stove and so, yesterday my husband and I decided since it was raining we'd go ahead and go to Wichita and look for a new one. We got out there about noon and shopped around, found one that we liked, and bought it. (It will be in next week! Yay!!!) Then we had some other things to do so we shoppped around at some other stores. Office Max, a scrapbook store, Sears, Best Buy, and Sam's Club. Then we had a gift certificate for Kobe's (the Japanese Steak House I talked about before.) so we went and ate supper there. It was 10:00 before we got done. We went out and got in our Tahoe.........and wouldn't you know it! It wouldn't start!!! My husband fiddled and fiddled with it (he's a pretty good mechanic.). Then he called our son and his brother to see if they had any ideas about what to do. Sadly nothing worked so here we are in the middle of a parking lot, nothing (and I mean nothing) open nearby, waiting. My son and brother-in-law had to drive out with a trailer and load up the Tahoe and haul it home!!! We didn't get home until after 2:00!!!
Then our church has a people mover (like a nice bus) that's been having troubles so this morning my husband wanted me to follow him to Winfield to leave it at a repairman's shop. We went in to get the people mover and IT wouldn't start. My husband had to work on it for a while to get it to start so he could drive it over. And Winfield is just south of Wichita so we've had quite another day again! Oh, I forgot to add that we borrowed my daughter's car to drive to Winfield! We've been looking for a new vehicle but I guess that we're going to have to step it up and start looking a little harder!! Nothing like having "The Magic Touch"!!!!!
