Thank you all who helped by sending emails last week about the man in prison not being let out to see his dying daughter. He got to visit her for several hours yesterday due to the outpouring of requests on their behalf.

Doesn't that just give you a warm glow? You all helped make it happen. :)

I cried as I read this news Tink, but then I remembered this prayer:

When God calls little children to dwell with Him above,

We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of His love.

For no heartache compares with the death of one small child

Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.

Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold

So He picks a little rosebud before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them, so He takes but a few

To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult, still, somehow we must try,

The saddest word mankind knows will always be "goodbye."

So when a little child departs, we who are left behind

Must realize God loves children... Angels are hard to find.

Thank God they let him see her when they did. It was almost too late.

I think what you did Tink...letting everyone know so we could all have our voices heard....was a wonderful thing. That little girl was able to see her father.

Thank goodness that the warden decided to let him see her when he did. I'm so glad that it worked out for him to go. How sad for the family that she's gone.

Wow Tink. I don't know how I missed this but thank you for the updates. I'm so glad they let him see his daughter, but sad that she passed away already. :(
