It is so warm and beautiful outside today it just takes my breath away. The temp is to suppose to get to 79 today.

This morning I took the puppies for their shots and now I can take them outside. They are going to love being able to have more room and to explore. I just need to have an extra pair of eyes to help me keep tabs on them.

I wish I was having as much luck as Tink in finding homes for these little girls. They are 13 weeks old today and it is time they found new loving homes. It would help if I shipped, but I just can't put something that small and precious on a plane by itself...no way.

This week we only have school for 4 days, Friday is a teacher work day (snow day we didn't need to use) so we get to enjoy a 3 day weekend, plus..the boys will be camping with Scouts so it's going to be a lovely weekend of alone time. Boy do I need it!:)

You've got to prepare yourself for Sunday.:)
Jenny and her family are stopping in this afternoon on their way to Disney World, so I'm looking forward to seeing my Wisconsin group. :cheer:

It is the same here - just beautiful.

Janet,

Take heart - they'll find homes when the right owner comes along.

I'm sorry, Janet, that you're having trouble finding homes for your little ones. Do you have them posted on YT? Someone's always looking for a new pup on there. You could call my husband and talk him into letting me have one!!!! :sidesplit: Then I could come and get it!!!!

They are on YT, but there was a thread somewhere that if you're not a show breeder or breeding show quality, that they will ignore your thread... and they do a lot of them. Guess you have to be on the 'A' list....

I can't believe that they're doing that!!! There's a lot of people who don't need a show quality dog!!! Sorry that they have to be that way.

You're right. The weather has been wonderful and after our very cold winter I am especially happy to have some warm temp. Enjoy your 3 day weekend and I wish I were there to play with your darling puppies.

Janet, I so wish my DH would let me have another one. Katy would love to have a sister. I would drive up to get one. He keeps saying I can get one if she goes.

I have thought for some time that those people on YT that say all Yorkies should be show quality just don't understand that people like me don't care that my dogs aren't perfect. I wanted a Yorkie with terrier characteristics and that's what I got. And I didn't spend a fortune to get them. Even breeders who try to breed them perfectly fail- probably quite often and what do they do with those dogs? Probably sell them to us!!
I'm sure you'll sell your dogs soon, Janet. It just takes the right person to come along. The economy is not so hot right now too and that may be part of the problem.
