Not leaving the house today!

Katie and I were going to go to city-wide garage sales this morning. We were both looking forward to it.
We got up, looked out the window and neither of us even wanted to go outside!
It's 32 degrees, raining, and the wind's howling. C'mon Mother Nature, it's almost MAY! Give us a break! I feel bad for the people having done all the work to get ready for their sales this weekend. I doubt many are going to have much luck in this weather.

Thats terrible!!! Get a good book, a cup of java and curl up under the blankets.

Ugh, that's too bad. I so look forward to garage sales when it starts warming up. We're having city wide garage sales next weekend. I think that my daughter-in-law is going to have one, but I'm not ready for it. Maybe you and your daughter could go shopping instead and have some one-on-one time anyway!!!

That's a shame - what are you doing with your day? If I was your house, I wouldn't get anything done because I would be playing with puppies all day.

I was going to go out today since the house is clean and the carpets have been cleaned, but it's cold and windy here too. No rain thank goodness, that would make it even worse. So I've been here on and off throughout the day and other sites too, and listening too/half watching 'Housewives of New York City.'

It's 55* here and sunny, but the wind is really blowing cold air from the north. Tomorrow and monday rain.

It was chilly here today, suppose to rain tomorrow and be cool the rest of the week. Hey this is practically May, it should be high 70's . In all I had a nice day went out with my SIL to visit friends went shopping and we had dinner out.

It is still really cold here today with a light breeze. I'm basically waiting on time to pass. Mom is due home this afternoon and so is hubby and son from their campout. Hopefully they get home about the same time and the boys can just stop at Mom's before they head home. I sure will be nice to have her home.

Boys made it home, but Mom won't get here till about 5:30...they had some heavey traffice in 2-3 areas so it's taking them longer to get home.

I think we are getting your wave of bad weather. It was in the eighties yesterday, but cold and rainy today (down in the 50's). It is supposed to be 30 tonight. So much for a birthday at the park for my son tomorrow.:mad:

We woke up to about 2" of snow in the lawn today. It's gone now, but it's 37 degrees and windy, so sure doesn't feel much like spring.

It sucks considering it's almost May.

Yes Tink it does suck lol I have the heat on tonight it is freaking cold outside and rainy all day. The rest of the week cold too.. Geeze where is SPRING!!!
