My Mom made it home around 5 yesterday afternoon. It was so good to see her, but it made me sad that I can see she has aged some in the four months she's been gone. It also looks like she's lost a little bit of weight.

She told me that on Friday (they left to come home the next day, Saturday), she had to go to the hospital and have blood added again. That's twice while she's been down there. I told her that we had talked throughout the week and she didn't say a word that she was getting weak again. She said she was wanting to wait until she came home, but it just wasn't possible since her blood count got down to 7. I sure wish they could find a way to keep her from losing blood if indeed that is what she is doing. They are not sure if she is losing blood, or just not making any.

Anyway...on Monday's I run to town and do our banking and so I stopped at Mom's. She's glad to be home and liked my Croc shoes so now she wants a pair...is she something or what? I told her we could go find her a pair when I take her to the Dr. on the 16th.

I'm glad she's home.

It's so hard to see our parents age. I'm sorry that she's still having trouble with the low blood issue. It sounds like you'll be making some trips to the doctor again to try and figure out what the problem is. You're a good daughter, Janet.

Thanks Diana.....She has said that she'll let them test whatever they want, but she will not drink that stuff to clean her out...she says "never again." I don't blame her...I wouldn't do it either.

Have they gotten any closer to figuring the problem out? I can't believe they are just letting this continue.
