:( Hi all. My hubby started a new business. He got a hotshot truck and trailer and got his first load to Grand Junction, Co. Well , all went well till he got into those mountains. Truck went down hill since then..He has been sitting on the side of the road trying to get back since last Wednesday:eek:. Not sure what is wrong with the truck yet,,afraid it is something bad. If he can just get a tow or a truck that can hook up to his gooseneck trailer with the truck on it,, he needs to get towed to his sisters in Missouri, which is much closer to him than I am. I would love for you to all pray for him to safely get out of Colorado and get to his sisters. I have been about to pull my hair out, let me tell ya!!

I'm not sure if there is anything more irritating than trouble with a vehicle when you're out on the road. I'll keep my fingers crossed he doesn't have to wait much longer and can get that tow. Meanwhile...find something to keep your mind off it so you won't drive yourself nuts. I think it's just as bad being the one waiting at home.

Oh, I'm so sorry to see this. Is he an owner/operator? Please let us know when he gets to safety.

How upsetting for you, I'll pray that he's able to make it home soon.

My prayers are with you and him!
I'm married to a semi driver too, so truly can relate.

Is he having trouble finding someone to tow him or what is the hold-up? Sitting there since Wednesday is a long time. I'll say a prayer that something works out so he can get back home.

Thank yall for your prayers and thoughts. We do run under our own authority. He just had me post a message under the truckers forum that is will do any odd jobs or work while he is stranded there to help himself. I just have to keep in mind all will be well....

Just letting you all know that DC did finally make it home last Sunday morning about 5 am. I sure appreciate your prayers. This has been quite an ordeal. I felt so bad for him when he did make it home...he lost about 20 or so pounds. Made me feel bad for him, but he is home safe and sound. Again, thank you for your prayers.

Poor guy! Thank goodness he's home and safe. Good luck with the business, and getting the truck in good shape.

Oh my!!! It did take him a long time to get home. Poor guy. It certainly sounds like he could use some good home cooked meals and some TLC!! I glad that he made it home all safe and sound.
