I'm a "Locks of Love" veteran now, for sure!

Yesterday, I donated another 12-inches of my hair to Locks of Love! ...and it feels GREAT! (No regrets!) It was easier this time...I didn't cry, not even one tear (which I can't say the same for 2005 and 2006, haha!)

The little anxiety is so worth it for such a great cause as Locks of Love. I figure...how many natural redheads donate their hair? And how much of a difference would it have made in my life as a child if I had had medical hair loss? HUGE! So it means a lot to me to know I'm helping some little underpriveliged redheaded child out there. :-)

And wow I have to admit I don't recognize myself in the mirror yet!

I know you want to see pictures so here ya go!

1. Wow check out my long mess of hair!
2. Look how long it got in 2 years since my last haircut!
3. ...measuring 12 inches with a measuring tape...
4. ...feeling a little pouty...thinking about wussing out...lol...

(more pictures, keep scrolling down)

4. This time we put it in 4 different ponytails to keep the layers even after the cut.
5. My 1st time seeing my new 'do in the mirror! Pretty happy about it!
6. Take that back...VERY happy about it!
7. Showing off my before and after.

Your hair is so beautiful. I must say with shorter hair...you look so glamorous. Beautiful hair for a beautiful lady.

Aww! :08: Thank you so much, Janet! I'm really excited about it. I am pretty sure that this is the shortest it's ever been. So far all my friends (even my boyfriend!) give it a very enthusiastic two thumbs up!

Wow your hair must grow really fast! I think it's awesome that you donate. During Relay for Life last weekend, there was a 9 year old little girl who said she had been doing the Relay for the last 3 years, and she went up on stage to get 8 inches of hair cut off. It was so touching I almost cried!
Anyways, it's a great cause and I'm proud of you for taking part! And I think you still look gorgeous with shorter hair!
