These were some clouds that rolled in with a storm that I took while we were visiting my FIL's grave. They were really dark with lots of lightening and there's a shelf cloud (it's a cloud that looks like bands around a storm. I was expecting to see a funnel cloud but never did. It was a scary looking storm.

Don't understand why the rain can't be distributed around a little. It's so dry here. We're having to water like crazy and our back yard is still looking brown. We need some rain sooooo bad!!!! The farmers have started harvesting the grain crops though, so I guess we can wait a little longer.

Beautiful pictures Diana! It's so funny because yesterday I tried taking some pictures of the storm we had yesterday, but they don't look real good. I took them through the window...lol. We're suppose to have a chance for more tonight. We had almost 3 inches fall within an hour and the wind just blew. I love storms, but when I'm here alone, it worries me some if I need to get the doggies to safety and try to do it alone.

We're raining now and the sky is so dark you wouldn't guess that it was morning. Glen's not too happy about it. He was just starting to get in the field and getting things done. Bummer!
What is the extended weather forecast for storms in your area Diana? I hope they stop soon!

We had rain again this morning but this afternoon it cleared off. We have a chance of rain again on Tuesday night and Wednesday. It's just a small chance but it seems like lately that's all it takes. We've got to get our crops planted!!! July 10th is the day we like to have everything planted by because if we plant later then we have to worry about an early frost getting the crops. Last year we planted a few days later but had a frost scare before the crops were far enough along. Hopefully by Monday it will be dried up so hubby can get back in the fields!
Marilyn, I truly wish that there was some way to ship this water down to you. We've had more than enough and we're willing to share!!!

I sure hope you can get your fields planted Diana. It rained here yesterday, bad storms last night and then it just poured again this morning. It cleared this afternoon and the sunshine was nice. The humidity is gone now, so I've turned off the air and opened the windows. Only suppose to be mid 70's tomorrow.

Diana, that just sucks. The field corn here is about knee high right now. I hope things dry up for you soon!
