There is NO punishment severe enough

I think this made national news, but it's been the main story in New England for the past week. The town isn't far from my house up north.


I'm normally not for the death penalty - but this guy deserves to die. I just don't understand 1. how he can do this to children, and 2. how he could do it to his own niece!

I think what made me even more mad was that he sat around for a week, while his sister waited to hear news about her little girl - all the while knowing that he had killed and buried her.

This is so sick. I just don't see how people can do such horrible things. Death by any method sanctioned by our society is not punishment enough for such a crime.

The whole situation is just sad. I don't know if killing him would even be enough. After all it is fairly painless and quick. I believe that he should suffer first. let him rot in jail and become someones"best friend" first. Then you can kill him!

How sad this world has become. Her own uncle. This man does not belong in society. These people are very sick and nothing will cure them. Children have rights and need to be protected against this sick society we live in.

I agree Diana castrination first and then do away with the person. Janet I don't think they have any remorse so having nightmares will not be a problem.

These people always reoffend. I believe in second chances but not with these types of crimes. First strike and your out. Period!
