Market preacher!

This morning i walked to the market, the weather was great and i just relaxed and walked around minding my own business.
I had to get some fabric because i want to sew a few things for my fur kids, so i go to the fabric guy and buy my needed fabric from him.
He stops and says, now tell me, do you know who God is? I'm like :eek: HUH:eek: I said, pardon? He goes on, do YOU know WHO God is? I said yes, i know who God is, well than tell me he said! I said, Mr. i don't discuss politics or religion, simply because everybody is entitled to their own opinion and we each have our own views on those things.

He carried ON and on... he saw God, he met him and he felt him, he knows what the bible says and he knows Jezus blah blah blah... so i go on and tell him, it's nice he knows it all... than he pipes up and says, YOU DON'T know God, i'm like, excuse me? Who are you to tell me what i know and don't? :mad:

Right than another customer came along so he says, i'll speak to you again! LOL
He started with the other customer about God before he asked him what he was looking for :eek:

I turned around to the stand on the other side and i saw this man smiling, i had to go there to get some ribbon and stuff... he smiled at me and said "did you see the light?" I said what a crazy guy he was, and he said, he does it to all he's customers! :eek:

Wow, kinda in your face wasn't he. He's either got some kind of mental/emotional problem, or he's just trying way to hard and in the wrong way to make a difference. He may want to share with others, and just does not now how to do so effectively. Pray for him that he finds the right way. If he is sane, his enthusiasm properly directed, could well benefit others.

What got to me was, i didnt ask him about anything? If i want to know i'll ask!
I have no problem with anybody's religion, and i respect other people's views, i never cut the topic's on politic and religion with anyone, unless they ask me, i will answer.
This guy was so in my face, i sure hope he doesnt do it to all he's customers, the way he spoke to me was quite rude!

Mandy,i don't blame you for getting upset,Someone like that would have turned me off too.But don't let that discourige you from listening to preachers that have a call from God to share with people about his love for his creation and what Jesus has done for us all.That guy was either a little wierd or going about sharing the wrong way.Even the Lord would not have been pleased with his actions .Jesus would never push himself on anyone,he waits till you ask him to make himself real to you or anybody.I know,he did it in my life and so far, part of my family.He loves you ,he would never want to hurt you.
