I was reading an article on CNN this am that just brought tears to my eyes. It is about a mom who is fighting breast cancer. She has a rare form of the cancer that is often hard to get rid of. I didn't know about this type of cancer until just recently. She has what is called "inflammatory breast cancer". I couldn't read the whole article because it really hits home for me. Breast Cancer runs in my family and sadly I feel like I will be the next to get it. I am always doing self checks and getting Mammos so I figure I might as well catch IT before IT has a chance to surprise me. I just thought that posting this article would be a good chance to let others know about it.

Cancer is very scary. I think what you're doing is the best idea. Like you said,
get it before it gets you.

Funny you brought this topic up, earlier I was online and saw a woman I was friends with many years ago and we sort of lost touch when I moved. I decided to say hello to her and she told me that her breast cancer was back. Make a long story short I called her and she told me that after 12 yrs. that it came back. She had the breast removed back then. Apparently back then a cell had broken off and spread. I was under the impression that after 5 yrs your cancer free, she said no one is guaranteed.. I hope that they are able to get it all she is going for treatments right now. Please keep her in your prayers..

Shada thanks for sharing that article it is scary for no one is immune from this awful disease. Continue to have your mamo thats all we can do.
