Ok ladies i thought this would be a good thread, name something or a couple of things that really move you that "take your breath away". I just need cheered up today...
Mine are:
Sun rising in the morning with beautiful red color in the sky
My son sleeping peacefully - what a beautiful sight
When you think your at the end of your rope and God sends you an angel to help you out.
Hearing about a miracle at church/or on the news.
The birth of a baby.
A rainbow after a rain
i have more just have to turn that hampster in my head !! :D

Sunrise over Bar Harbor Maine
Jim riding his bike in the mountains
Fireworks
Depending on who is singing - "Amazing Grace" touches my soul and makes me cry.

oh where is my brain you did say bike not motorcycle... but anyways i do miss it.
Puppies!
(Gee, who'd have guessed I'm mention this one!) ;)
The beach, especially when the sun shines on the waves and it looks like diamonds.
Going up a mountain road and being surrounded by trees.
Quiet, so I can hear birds singing, the wind, and the sounds of nature.
A fierce thunder and lightening storm, with me and my pets inside.

Gee, the things that take my breath away are...hmmm
... the idea that this young man I've raised is my son.
... hearing the song by Louis Armstrong..."What a Wonderful World" makes my heart smile too.
.... puppies being born
.... butterflies that land on me when I don't even see them
.... looking out over the fields early of a morning or right before dusk. So peaceful, quiet and beautiful.
I know there is more, but when I try to think...I go blank...lolol

Seeing my oldest daughter married in 11 days.

Babies
A good laugh (my favorite thing in the world)
Passionate foreplay/sex, (I still get butterflies a decade later after a good kiss)
A good cry
Music
Smells, when I smell certain scents they take me away
Thank goodness somebody had the courage to say this one!
" Passionate foreplay/sex,... a good kiss)"
Definitely takes my breath away.

holding and smelling a baby at it snuggles up to you
the sights, smells and sounds of a hayfield in the early morning with the dew on the spiderwebs on the barbed wire fence with the sound of grasshoppers
seeing someone obeying the gospel and being baptized

The northern lights dancing across the sky. I don't get to enjoy it anymore since I'm in the city, but I got a tattoo for memories :)
And I have to also agree with the puppies comment!

That's what I married 35 years ago. He was a cement finisher, only his hair was red. He's not built quite the same now, and his hair is not so red any more, but he can still take my breath away.

Watching my puppies play or cuddle together
Getting snuggled with that "I love you" look in the puppies' eyes
Seeing my mom get stronger and stronger every day
A sunrise or sunset
Taking the perfect photo
Doing something spontaneous just for the fun of it
Listening to good music
Seeing my sister do something that reminds me that she is growing into an amazing young lady
Going for a walk during a gentle spring rain
Hiking to the top of a mountain to find a gorgeous view of nature
Waterfalls

The beach....especially in the evening when most of the people are gone and the sand isn't hot anymore....I can sit for hours and look at the ocean.
My daughter singing....I do not know where her talent comes from, certainly not me!
Riding with my son when he is driving...but that's not exactly in a positive way!
Tucker (my yorkie) when he just sits there being all adorable without even trying!
My husband, every time he walks in the door at night!

God's beauty in flowers, the ocean or a mountain.
A hug or kiss from my kids or grandkids.
Puppy kisses from Chipper or my granddogs.
Smiles on the faces of all the people I have met in chemo and radiation that have beat this thing.

What takes my breath away?
-Thinking about how blessed I am
-A passionate kiss from my husband
-Watching my children and grandchildren
-Hearing the sound of my family when everyone is finally here
-A rainbow
-Beauty in nature (a flower, a waterfall, a nice shady spot, a sunset)
-A newborn baby or a baby's smile
-Pride in the USA
-Good friends

A full moon in the sky at night, really clear so you can see it and feel like you can almost touch it.
Micah when he laughs, that deep down belly laugh.. I love it..
I forgot about all the beautiful flowers... love just looking at them
and humming birds amaze me also...
