Tomorrow morning Ricky has his physical that I scheduled for him. I will go with him of course to voice my concerns to the Dr. and then hopefully be able to leave the room so Ricky feels a little more in control (and not be embarassed by having Mommy there).

In the afternoon, I'll starting cleaning things in the computer/dog room and then move them out of the room, but I will just be taking my time.

On Friday morning, Ricky and I both have an eye doctor appointment. I really need new glasses I think plus new frames. These are starting to look a little worn.

Then in the afternoon, I'll clean some more out of the computer/dog room, fill whatever nail holes that need filled and if I feel like it, I'll start taping. If not, I'll do it sometime over the weekend. Then Monday...I'll start painting again.

Guess I can look at it as my last hoorah!!!...LOL, because I know in my heart if I'm able to finish it I won't be able to do it again.

Sounds like you will have a busy couple of days. We will miss you here!!

BTW, with regard to your "last horrah", you're too young to feel this way. When we all get our personal trainers and get into shape, there will be no stopping us!!!! We will have to do this to keep up with Gina and her male strippers!! ;)

Don't work too hard my friend, and hope all goes very well with your appointments. I know you are anxious to make certain Ricky is okay. Will be thinking of you today!!

Hope all goes well with the Dr. I remember the first time Kevin went in by himself. He came out and I was like "what did he say?" "Nothing" arrrgggghhhhh.

Good luck on the painting, I hate to paint more than any other household chore inthe world.

What do you mean your "last hoorah"? You're not old enough to be thinking that way!!!

I think that you're very energetic and it always amazes me how you set your mind to do something and get it done in a very timely manner. Maybe next time you can just paint a room or two at a time instead of trying to tackle the whole house!!!

I need to paint my living room but it is open to my kitchen, the dining room, and a couple of hallways. I'm really not looking forward to painting them. Besides my living room has a peaked ceiling.

Took Ricky for his physical today. Everything is fine. Said he thought some of the dizziness Ricky was having was due to such a sugar high and then dropping. So he told him to watch his diet as far as the sugar is concerned. Everything else checked out perfect...I am so happy!!!

Tomorrow we go to the eye doctor. I know I'm going to need new lens, but I hope to change frames this time too.

I honestly feel that if I wait another year or two, I won't be able to do the painting ladies. It just hurts so bad in my back and knees and the tyleno or ibuprophen really doesn't help much. It is just too hard standing on a ladder that long and then going up and down it too. I don't feel old except when I'm painting and during the night, the pain is almost too much to bear. It will get done and before school starts.

Thank goodness Ricky is well! That's the most important thing. You must feel wonderful with that behind you.

You're not old - painting is very hard work. Don't think twice about it. Maybe next time, Ricky will be accomplished enough to do the whole job.

Janet glad to hear that Ricky is well . :) Now get your new glasses and you will be all set. As far as the painting goes its time to start delegating the painting to Ricky, he is a strong boy and you can teach him.. Your not old by any means but to paint a whole house is tiresome.. You need to do fun things for yourself Janet from now on...

Good luck with painting and I hope that you don't suffer much at night afterwards.

Oh Gina, it's not that Ricky wouldn't be able to paint, but it's being able to paint good enough to suit his very picky mother...LOLOL.

Eye appts. went very well. Ricky's eyes are in great shape and he doesn't need any kind of correction. My prescription stayed the same, I just need new frames so I ordered some. I am also getting glasses just for being on the computer can't wait!!!!

I'm so glad the appointments went well Janet!
How wonderful that you now have that peace of mind.

I hope you're going to show us pics of your new specs. I'll be watching for them!

I will Tink...but they won't look much different. I'm not real good with change.

I'm just glad now I can concentrate on getting the painting done and not worry about Drs. appointments. All is well.

So glad your news was good all the way around!!!!!

I'm with the others. You need to teach Ricky how to do paint properly, and let him do more of it. Pay him a little for it. It will be cheaper than a painter and be good for both of you.

So glad everything went well for you ad Ricky.
To save money, maybe you can keep your same frames. I have for several years.

I was going to keep these frames, but they've been sodered so many times and are really needing replaced. I still had some puppy money so they are paid for, just waiting for them to come in next week.
