That makes me SO freaking mad    I love Dubya. He's doing the best he can, guys. I don't want to get into a political debate here (but I will if I hate to), but seriously, he's doing the best he can under the circumstances that he's been given, which are REALLY crappy circumstances. :(

 I don't think it was sent to me as a political statement, I think it was sent because it was the first thing listed. Google will probably be taking it off once they get wind of it being there. :)

I know you didn't mean anything by it, Janet. You are too sweet to do anything malicious. :D :D :D I just didn't want it to turn into a polical debate because I am ready to defend the President of our Country!

You know, now that I think about it, you are 100% right, I probably shouldn't have posted that in case it did end up in a debate. It just never occured to me that it might happen. I love life lessons and this is another one, especially when it comes to religion and politics....:)

I'm glad you posted it. I sent it to my mom and dad so we could chat about it. Don't worry about it, Janet! Everyone knows that you aren't trying to start a debate. If it does turn into a debate, ADMIN will just close the thread. No harm done. ;)

Ditto Becca, and I am a fellow Texan like him and take great offense in people being so rude! Shoot I think he was put in a bad situation because of the idiot of Clinton and his funny pants... Look at all the stuff Bush has done for Immigration Reform and Education! Shoot if he still had years left on his term I would VOTE AGAIN for BUSH!

I posted again in vent about the bus situation I've been going through. I copied a couple of the email that were exchanged. I didn't post the very first one from the mother to the Assist. Princ. because it was a two pager if printed out and way too long for this forum, but I thought I'd post a couple that a little shorter.

I agree, Cindy! With the hand he's been dealt, he's done a pretty good job. I don't know if anyone in this forum is religious, but did you know that every single person on Bush's Cabinet is a Christian? I would vote for him again without blinking.

It would not surprise me a single bit if Google is the one behind it. Actually, I would be surprised if Google WASN'T the one behind it. Actually, nothing surprises me anymore! :p

This is what it says now to explain :
If you do a Google search on the word [failure] or the phrase [miserable failure], the top result is currently the White House’s official biographical page for President Bush. We've received some complaints recently from users who assume that this reflects a political bias on our part. I'd like to explain how these results come up in order to allay these concerns.

Google's search results are generated by computer programs that rank web pages in large part by examining the number and relative popularity of the sites that link to them. By using a practice called googlebombing, however, determined pranksters can occasionally produce odd results. In this case, a number of webmasters use the phrases [failure] and [miserable failure] to describe and link to President Bush's website, thus pushing it to the top of searches for those phrases. We don't condone the practice of googlebombing, or any other action that seeks to affect the integrity of our search results, but we're also reluctant to alter our results by hand in order to prevent such items from showing up. Pranks like this may be distracting to some, but they don't affect the overall quality of our search service, whose objectivity, as always, remains the core of our mission.

Thank you Amber...I for one will never, ever post anything pertaining to religion or politics again even in the slightest way. I've learned my lesson....:)

I agree. Google can take that off if they wanted to.

But Google is out to make money, just like the media. Every single time someone does this "Failure" search, Google is getting paid.

Interesting. I have very different opinions of the president than everyone else on here but I will NOT post them. However, I found this interesting and dare I say, rather comical. :D
