This afternoon Kyle and I went for a walk by the river. We started out at the train bridge... SCARY! I haven't been across that bridge since my grandma took me when I was 11. Right beside the tracks there's a wooden walkway about 3 or 4 feet wide. And there are cracks that let you see straight down to the river below. I waited until we were almost at the end before I'd stop to take pictures!
1. Standing on the train bridge, University bridge in the distance
2. Trees changing color by the train bridge
3. The other direction, Circle Drive bridge in the distance
4. University land

5. More trees, and the tallest buildings in the city. Really.
6. Tour boats in the river. The cool white building is one of the hospitals. And there is a whole city hidden in all the trees lol. It's very green around here :)
7. We've cross the University bridge and are on our way back. There's the train bridge in the distance.
Then I stopped taking pictures because it was hot and I was exhausted and we still had all that way to walk!

Beautiful pictures, Lindsay!!! Thanks so so so much! I love seeing the color change in the trees. Our leaves just die of old age in December! :)

Thank you :) I think I might go out again next weekend and take some more pictures. This whole color change has happened in about a week, and there are already a lot of leaves on the ground. Fall comes and goes pretty fast around here!

I sure love looking at the color change pictures - we just don't have much (any) color around here! I have a red oak in my back yard that (theoretically) that leaves change to red before falling, but as I said, it is rarely cold enough to cause the color change prior to December when they just go brown and die of old age.
So, any color change pix would be much appreciated!!
Beautiful shots Lindsey! What a pretty place.. Maybe when I have a day off I will take photos of the fall foilage it is so beautiful to see....

What beautiful pics - I don't know why, but I've always really liked walking along train tracks.
