--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi ladiesl, something happened today and I wanted to share it with you.

My dad passed away in 1974, quite a long time ago. I have always thought that he has sent me butterflies. When I'm down and I need him, or when I'm thinking of him, either real, pictures, ornaments something, always something with butterflies appear. I think I've mentioned it before.

My dad was one who sat in the yard and could always find a four-leaf clover. Never took him no time at all once he looked to the ground and then he'd pick one out of a bunch of clover.

Tonight, I took the doggies out and while sitting in a lawn chair, I noticed a bunch of clover that I didn't recall being there. I started talking to my little Joey, I said "Joey, my daddy could always find four-leaf clovers." I then moved my fingers through the clover and out popped a four-leaf clover. Oh did the tears fall.

I walked in the house to show my husband, because I had never found one ever in my life. He asked me if I remembered how my dad could always find them. I told him about me telling Joey..about my dad and how the four-leaf clover just popped out. His mouth just dropped open. He said Dad must be near.

I am so missing my dad tonight. I just wanted to share this with you all.

Janet I got the goose bumps reading your thread. Yes I also remember you talking about the butterflies and your dad. I agree he came to visit, and what a wonderful feeling was that... Smile for your dad is your guardian angel.

How wonderful! A visit from your Dad must have been lovely. I always feel like I can talk to my Dad and he'll hear me. Like he's always in the background watching out for me, just like when he was alive.

I used to feel I got visits from him quite often, but then they kind of tapered off. This experience was just the best....out of no where and I just knew my dad was near.
