Let me out of here!

I must get up, get dressed and get out for while! It looks beautiful out too.

I was sitting home, waiting for Marcia, my cleaning woman, to come, but she must have forgotten. I have to talk to my SIL about when he's going to start work on my house before I arrange for her to come another day. Kind of silly for her to vacuum when the rug is being torn up! The house will be a mess for a while.
I hate that. It really stresses me out, and I do not allow stress in my life! I'm going to have to just plunge right in.

I picked out paint. No, that's a lie. Jessie picked out paint. I just knew the colors I wanted. Now I have to find 2 vanities for the bathrooms, 4 ceiling fans, decide on lighting, and I don't know what else. Oh - I'm getting my dresser tomorrow. Then I can decide on a bedding set. My couch won't be here for a while. I have to order dining room chairs, but I want to paint first before I decide on colors. Curtains! Forgot curtains. Oh - I think I'm going to get a chaise lounge.

I'm no good at this sort of thing, but I bet you are! When it's all done you know we'll want pictures, right? This has just got to be an exciting time for you. I'm so happy that things are going well for you Judy.

Redecorating can be a big pain putting up with all of the mess but it's definitely worth it in the end!!! Just keep your mind on the end result! I can't wait to see pictures! You should take some before pictures for comparison.

I got up and planned to start early on straightening out the house. It's gotten messy. My cleaning woman didn't come - she has the bug that everybody around here has.

Of course, I got online and now it's 2:00. No big deal - but it's nice out and I want to at least take the dogs to the dog run. It's pretty empty here now, so I'm thinking that we'll have it to ourselves.

It's not. Most of the homeowners use their places as weekend and vacation homes. Most of them live in Manhattan, Westchester and New Jersey.

But....the winters here are known for the snow and the cold. I hope I can enjoy myself, and not be stuck in the house too much.
