I'm not complaining. My house is going to be absolutely beautiful, Steve and his partner are great workers. (Actually Steve is a perfectionist).

But, at the moment, my house is completely tyurned upside down, there's dust everywhere, and I hide in my bedroom.

I tried to at least straighten up - what a waste of time, but it had to be done. I also got some things cleaned out and put my shoes in their new shoe thing.

The dogs are filthy, but I'll bathe them in a couple of days. Another waste of time.

However, I washed my dishes in my dishwasher and am doing 3 loads of laundry in my washer and dryer. Believe me, I am so happy!!! I love having these appliances.

I will take pictures tomorrow. It's too dark to get any good shots inside.

There is no way around the dust Judy...believe me...I know. BUT, if you keep doing what you're doing and staying on top of it...it's not so bad. I honestly can't wait to see the before and after pics. I just know I'm going to be soooo envious...in a good way!!!

It will be great when it's all done. Washers and Dryers what great inventions.
I know when my washer broke down this summer going to the laundromat was a royal pain. Have fun when it all over.

............We redecorated our living room last weekend..............

So.........where are the pictures, Mandy!!!!!

Judy, the dust is temporary so don't worry about it. I'm sure that it's going to look really nice when it's done. I just can't imagine what you're having done to cause all the dust!!!???

I'm having a lot done. The rugs are being ripped up and laminate planks put down, the house is being painted, ceiling fans, lighting, closet shelving, an entertainment center (not new stuff!), electric stuff, vanities for the bathrooms, part of the basement is being set up for storage (very primitive and basic), and I don't remember what else. I think I also need a new dishwasher. I'll see how much money I have left.

My stepmother sold the condo she and my dad lived in. Since he left me half owner, I got some money and decided to do the work now. I don't expect to ever do it again!

My SIL offered to do the work for me for a really good price. He found a partner and even though it's costing me 2x as much for labor, the work is going faster. I'm paying for supplies of course. He's a really great worker and so is his partner.
I guess if money gets really tight, I'll say "Okay guys, we're finished."

I'm going to put up some pictures.
