I'm going to see the Grinch with my 2 favorite girls, my daughters, (and cousins) tonight!! I am really excited! The Christmas lights is Boston are beautiful!! We are going out to eat first then off to the show..I LOVE doing stuff with my daughters!! We have so much fun and all we do is laugh! This is my very first time going to a play....and I'm 51 yrs old!! Just hope it's not too cold! I will let you all know how it was.

That sounds like a wonderful time. I never hear of any good shows until they are all sold out. I love going to plays and Christmas shows.

Though I moved to Baltimore about 5 years, I was born and raised in Worcester County. :dreaming: I love Boston!
Please post pictures :happy038: and have a great time.

Morning Girls!
Well, the Christmas lights in Boston were beautiful! We drove to Alewife and took the train in...We ate at a place called Rock Bottom. We had a wonderful time talking, drinking, eating and laughing!! The food was reasonably priced BUT THE DRINKS!! INSANE!! We had a great time anyway.......Now for the show,....HORRIBLE! This was my first play I've ever been too...It cost 90.00 and I was soooo disappointed! Even my daughters (who have been to several plays) didn't like it. They want to take me (for my b-day) to see dirty dancing..I told them I would have to think about it..I wasn't impressed at all. Maybe I will give it another try...we'll see. It's alot of money especially if the show stinks. I think because I've seen the movie and watched the cartoon every year, I expected it to be kind of like that....and it wasn't. I did like going to Boston though with my daughters! LOL
Brenda sounds like you had a great time with your daughters and cousins. Sorry the play was not good. Especially when they cost so much money to see. I go to many plays in Manhattan but I always read the reviews and wait till they are out for awhile. In all its fun having girls night out. Glad you enjoyed! :)

That's too bad that the play wasn't very good especially since you spent so much money on it. But at least you got to spend time with your daughters and that's what counts!!!!!
