Will have the surgery on my arm for the nerve entrapment on the 19th. It is done at a surgical center and will only be there about 2 hours but he said it is very painful after surgery and I am a big baby with pain. :doh::doh:

You and I need to check in and just have them fix everything we have wrong at once. I think you'll do OK.

It would be wonderful to have everything done at the same time. Not in this day and time.
Thanks,

Sorry that you're facing another surgery but hopefully this will help your arm and be worth having it taken care of. {{{{{Hugs}}}}}

Thanks GF. Wish my husband could take me for the surgery but "HE" is too busy.
Called my only cousin, She has other plans.
Hopefully, some of my friends can take me.

I'm so sorry to hear that you have to have surgery and that your family cannot support you through it. Hopefully, your friends will come through for you. I hope you do well, especially with the pain. Since you know it will hurt, maybe you can get more prepared for it and it won't be as bad as you thought!

Your husband's not going to take you and be there for your surgery? I'd be more than a little upset with him over that!!!! If I lived a LOT closer I'd take you and wait for you too.

You are so sweet. He has NEVER taken me for ANYTHING.
When we lived in MN, I started to get up and my knee broke, it was horrible. Had to crawl through the house to the stairs and yell for my son, he took me to the hospital, he was 18, they wanted to do surgery but didn't have anyone there to take care of me, so they put my leg in a cast and flew to Tampa so my sister could help me. He thinks I am nuts for having cataract surgery and really nuttier for having my arm operated on. He has been really sick for 3 days, running a high fever and sweats, maybe the flu, I don't know, works every day, he is thinking of going to the Doctor this afternoon and I will not take him. He is crazy, had a friend in her 80's that needed to be in a nursing home, he went to her home every night, made her food, fed her, cleaned her diapers and bedding, even cleaned her house that was full of cats, monkeys, dogs, etc, poop all over the place and he cleaned that up too. He did this for months before she passed.
I am the one that is CRAZY.
Here I go venting again.

I'm sorry you have to have surgery, and I'm even sorrier that your husband won't go with you. Make sure you get plenty of pain control so that you're comfortable. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Everyone deserves the support and respect of family members. I hope he comes to see that.

I do appreciate all of you.
Rod's son took him to the hospital last night and they wanted to keep him but he wouldn't stay. He is at his farm today. We can't do anything with him.
