Okay....now be honest, none of this "world peace" (we all want that) or "it doesn't really matter." What one, two or three things are you hoping someone gets you for Christmas?
1.) Walking Sport Shoe
I bought a pair of walking (sport) shoes Sunday and gave them to my husband to wrap for me and told him I put them on charge because of a 15% discount. He can pay the charge when it comes due. I really needed a pair of shoes.
2.) Bissell Featherweight Sweeper
Saw it when I bought my shoes at Kohl's and thought it would be handy. Not sure if I would buy it myself, but if someone bought it for me...LOL.
3.) A laptop
Never gonna happen....I'll have to save up
Can't really think of anything else. I did find a Cato Shop that Diana told me about so maybe some cash would be good.
Can't really think of anything else I need or want, what about the rest of you?
Hey Janet! I'm on too.
1. A new laptop (mine is going - I'm having a computer guy check it out today)
2. A wonderful man to spend my life with
3. LOTS AND LOTS of money (like a lottery prize type lots)

A decent hair straightener.
A professional camera (Nikon/Cannon) or a replacement battery for my oldie but goodie Kodak because it takes decent pictures and it still works even though it's been through hell and back.
To be able to eat as much dessert and traditional comfort food having it magically not contain any calories or fat so as not to gain a pound! :p

1) A 20" gold rope chain
2) A carpet steamer/cleaner AND somebody to use it OR somebody to clean my carpets regularly
3) A radio/CD player that will work in my office
4) A dozen new tops/blouses/shirts
5) Il Divo CDs

Now this is the kind of list I meant....something that someone can go buy for you. Something you may want....or need.

Glen and I are so bad about buying things for ourselves that it's hard to tell anyone something that I want. Hmmmm.......I wanted a Cricut Expression but I had my DIL pick one up at Walmart when they were on sale after Thanksgiving. There's really not anything that I need except for a new slip. Mine is being held together with safety pins, but I'm sure that no one would get THAT for me so I'll have to buy it myself. Ok, here goes.....
1. A new slip
2. I'd like for someone to take me to go and see the movie "Marley and Me".
3. Ok, now I'm at a loss at what to ask for........
The kids are really good at getting us little things that we like. It's always fun to see what they get us. Maybe I'll think of something later........

Diana I read that book and want to go see the movie too. We are off until January 6th so since it opens in theaters on Christmas day...I hope I get a chance to see it then. I would also like the DVD Mama Mia. I heard it was really good and funny. I never got to go see it at the theater.

1. A Nikon D40 SLR Digital Camera - Hubby already got it for me, and it came in last week, only he got a Nikon D60 with three lenses and lots of other accessories, so I'm set!!!! I love the camera, and as soon as I figure out how to get the pictures off the 8 GB card he got for me to use in it, I'll post some pics of our tree and things. I have wanted a good camera for soooooo long, ever since my Canon AE1 was stolen from our home, back in 1990.
2. A laptop or netbook - don't really need since I have a perfectly good desktop, so know this is only a dream.
3. Some books on bread making.
All I'm getting is the camera which is definitely ENOUGH!! The girls may get the books if they can find them somewhere like Half Priced Books or used on Amazon.com.

Awww, Haley, you can come down here and work for me. Not sure yet, but we may be needing someone after the first of the year. There are three women and two men at this branch, and one of the men may be leaving, would love to replace him with another tough woman!! Any sales experience???
Seriously, wishing you the best, and hope you get your wish for Christmas!!!

Haley, I had a dear friend who I graduated from high school with that was supposed to be my roommate my freshman year of college, but did not get to go. Her family owned a dairy, and her father had a heart attack that summer and she had to stay home to help with the dairy. Where I'm going with this is that she ended up working for the post office and is now the postmaster of a fairly nice sized town. It's a pretty good paying career and has a retirement penion as well. I had two uncles and a cousin who retired from the Post Office.

My mom was an assistant postal clerk for 20 years - which meant she worked four hours EVERY Saturday morning, putting up the mail in our little post office. Then she became the postmaster, and retired from that with a nice little pension. It was a great job.
My aunt delivered the mail in our little county for FORTY YEARS!!! It can be a great career. Benefits are very good!
Good luck with your job search.

3. Day at the spa
4. Money... because I've almost paid off New York and it's time to start saving for another trip I'm taking in February or March with another girl friend :D

I think we have a great group here....no one is being greedy at all. Of course we'd all like to win the lottery and have all our bills completely paid for with a few extras..lol. And if any of you play....that is one of my wishes for you.
