When my mom passed away almost 3 years ago. Wow how time flys.
Anyway. She had this huge Christmas Cactus. She just left it in the corner of the room and it bloomed like crazy every year. Well I ended up with it thank goodness and so far it has only bloomed 1 time since i've had it. I keep it in the corner close to a window but not in direct sun light. It has been dropping leaves
a couple a week. I water it once a week. Does anyone have any knowledge
of them? If so I could use some good advice. I love the plant and don't want to loose it. I have just planted a rooting that I started last year from the bigger plant. So any advice would be great. Thank you.

Wow...I didn't realize there was so much info for the Christmas Cactus. Here are a couple links Linda that should answer some of your questions. If my father-in-law was still here, I could have asked him.

I think that you have to work with their light in order to have them bloom. Also you probably need to make sure that they are fertilized in order to bloom. I'm sure that you'll find out what you need to know from the 'net.
