What else before this year is over.
Maybe some of you know about her. She is a blue and gold macaw, talked like a human, called everybody by THEIR name. My Dh had to take her to his farm because if I didn't sit with her 24/7 she screamed and that can be heard for miles away. I would go to the farm to visit her and when I arrived, she screamed, DONNA, DONNA, until I got to her. When I left she would say my name so sad a pitiful it would make me cry. He found her dead yesterday.
I have not resized her pictures but this one looks just like her.
We got her and a maltese at the same time and they played together on the floor tugging with socks.

I"m so sorry Donna! Have you had her for 20 years??? My goodness, I can't imagine!
Did you have your surgery on Friday? If so, how are you doing???

I'm so sorry about the loss of your parrot. I know some people love birds and they are like family. I've always been afraid of them...since I was little.

I did have her for 20 years. She was so sweet. When we traveled back and forth from FL to MN,

A blessed day today. I am in no pain. Went to the Doctor this morning and he said it was healing very well. My dh felt much better today. Hope for a smooth sailing for a while.

Thanks, especially one that is so intelligent, loving and personable. What I started to say way back--she rode in the van with us when we were traveling back and forth from FL to MN, carrying on conversations with us, if I would read, she would say, "What you doing Donna?" One night we drove too late and could not get a motel room so we stopped at a truck stop, there were lights, we pulled the bed out in the back and put her in the front seat in her pet cage, crawled into bed, she had never seen us sleeping together and she started yelling, WOW, WOW, WOW, we took everything we could find to cover her up so that she couldn't see us. She was a comedian. Had our Maltese too and if he made a noise she would say, "Shut up Kojak!" So many happy memories.
