New Year's Eve Plans????

Okay, what is everyone doing for New Year's Eve???

This year we are going to a party hosted by some church friends. No alcohol, (we don't drink anyway) just good people, good food and lots of games. We probably won't stay all the way to midnight. We usually come home and relax together in front of the TV to ring in the New Year.

Last year we went to Magic Island in Houston for the evening with some dear friends, but they have a new baby, so this year we're staying close to home.

Not sure we're doing anything special this year. Ricky and I are going to see Marley and Me today in a nearby city. We want to use our new GPS even though we know where we're going....lol. After the matinee, we are going to a place called CC's for free (I have two coupons) buffet pizza. Rick is working. We usually have seafood for our New Year's evening meal, but it is just way too expensive this year after Rick being off work for so long. Trying to save. It would be so much cheaper for us to go to Red Lobster and we just may.

I never make it to see the ball drop, I'm usually in bed, Rick's asleep on the couch and after the ball drops...Ricky wakes up his dad and they go to bed. Really exciting here huh?

We're having a small party. Dae Lynn and Damon are coming and another couple from church that's about their age. And maybe some of my husband's family are coming. It should be a pretty quiet group except for the kids. There will be 3 kids under the age of three. I don't know how late the party will go with the other families having small children. Glen and I will be up until midnight at least because we'll be waiting for Jaci to come home.

I am so boring since I married this man. All he does is work, work, work.
We will just eat, eat, eat.

My hubby and I were going to go to Boone, NC with a few friends, but he got a stomach bug and I started having really bad pain so we had to cancel. We're going to stay home and try to feel better.

Going to a Komets, Hockey game tonight. Jen got free tickets though 4-H.
So Hubby, Jen one of her girl friends and me are going. Never been to one before
should be an eye opener. Wouldn't go if the tickets hadn't of been free. How cheap am I:? LOL

We may go out to eat and then come home. If not we will take out food. My husband is not in the mood with his father passing and I have a sinus infection and am not feeling good. So we will eat and come home and watch a little tv wish each other a happy new year and go to bed. Exciting right.. lol

I'm afraid I don't have much to offer in the way of anything exciting. We will be lucky if we make it to midnight. I have actually made dinner tonight, that makes about 3x this past year (hubby is the cook around here). Baked spaghetti...yum! We've rented a couple of movies and that's about it! We've just received our 2nd snowstorm of the season, about 7" so we wouldn't really want to drive anywhere tonight anyway...kind of home bodies I guess....Good news is I have tomorrow off so I can sleep in!!!

It's me and Max and Annie tonight. I have Fight Club, Hancock and another movie DVRed, lots of chips, M&M's and pumpkin pie.

I can eat my way into 2009!

He's already feeling a lot better, but it's too late to go with our friends now. We decided to watch a few movies instead. We just finished Eagle Eye.

We just got home from our Oklahoma trip this afternoon and I should be finishing my unpacking, but I am NOT!

We got take out from our fave Mexican restaurant - tortilla soup (me) and chile rellenos for hubby! I'm SURE we'll go to bed before midnight!!!!!

My plans just changed! Brendon and I are both feeling better so we invited some friends over for a board game. I'm really excited!! :)

Sounds like fun Angie. I am home as well we took out italian food and my son and is girlfriend are here with us. I am here on 4Wt, and later I will make tea and serve cheese cake. I still don't feel well so after 12 I will head for bed..

We left the party we attended a little before 11 p.m. and I've been on her ever since. We had a nice evening.
