Well, I finally got home for Christmas on the 24th. The tree was PACKED with presents! Not a good thing because I had about the same amount for everyone else haha... But I stuffed them all under there and they eventually fit :)

On Christmas eve night we have a tradition with my friend and her family, every year we go to one of our houses (it switches each year) and have a nice supper and play games all night. This year I finally got to see her again because for the past 3 or 4 years she's been at her boyfriend's family's house. Well, he broke up with her a few months ago and they had to sell their house and she moved back with her parents and is still really heartbroken. She talked about him a lot but I tried to convince her life without a guy isn't so bad! She also brought up that she wants to take a girls trip to a spa in Banff (in the mountains) to help her get over him. I was like I'M IN!

On Christmas day, I loved watching my family open all their presents from me :) And from my parents, I got a new blanket, cushions, shams, etc for my bed, a spa gift certificate, a hair salon gift certificate, a clothing store gift certificate, a watch, and a cheque :) My brother got me satellite radio for my car! But Layla really cleaned up lol... she got 2 shirts from New York, a sweater and matching hat and scarf (she really hates that hat!), and a Calgary Flames jersey... I'm a Flames fan and my roommate is a hardcore Edmonton Oilers fan... I can't wait to see her face when my dog is cruising around the house in a Flames jersey hahaha

We drove back to the city for the weekend to see my grandma who is leaving I think today for 2 weeks in Cancun... LUCKY! And then I went back home again for a few days.

On New Years eve I drove back to the city in a BLIZZARD :( It was really bad, the highways were very icy and there was no visibility after I got halfway here. But I took my time and got into the city about an hour later than I should have. The guy I'm seeing had come back the day before, so I called him and I was just all frazzled from the ride so he told me to go have a bubble bath and leave my door unlocked. He came over and made me spaghetti for supper :D Then we got all decked out in our nicest clothes and headed to his friend's house for a fancy new years party! It was a really good time, his friends are great people.

Now I've got to get ready because I'm repaying him with a nice romantic supper of my own :) I have a few more things to pick up and some of the house to clean, oh and I still have to get dressed lol

I will add pictures soon!

The decorations are really lovely Lindsey. The tree is really nice. Your bedroom set is so pretty...I think you said your parents got you that....they have good taste!

Even if the quality of the last pic isn't the greatest....we can still see two people enjoying each others company.
