I will take the camera out tomorrow and take some pix.

I'm now into windows.

I'm thinking about solar shades, which allow you to look out of the window, but people can't see in. This is only during the day.
At night, I would just pull the curtains. I only want this in my kitchen, which has a lovely view. I also am not covering the slider doors leading to the deck. The view is beautiful and I don't think anyone can see into my great room at night. I hope not anyway!

The solar panels cost a fortune, but I'll find them for less. Here's a website describing them.

Shada - JC Penney does have great buys. I think I'm ordering a pleated shade for the downstairs bathroom from them in sage.

I need window treatment for the den and my bedroom next.

I bought a futon for the den. Now I'll have a couch to sit on and a bed for the kids to sleep over on.

I also ordered a bedding set. I'm not sure about the colors. According to the reviews, it is a green and the trim is gold. My bedroom walls are a deep red orange/ It might work and it might not. I have some others I'm thinking of too.

The third picture is a possibility of the mix of colors for the bedroom.

I like your choices, too! Windows are my least favorite things to do, but a room just isn't done without it ;)

The bedding was beautiful, but I'm sending it back. It just doesn't look right.

I was online and saw that Pier One is having a sale. I bought a soft purple velvet bedskirt and a purple and and orange velvet throw pillow for the bed. Then I was in my linen closet, and found my blanket that has the perfect colors for my room!
It was in one of those thingies you take the air out of and it lies flat. As soon as I opened it, the comforter fluffed right up. It was fun. It's in great condition and washed beautifully.

So, I will use these and probably still look for a comforter. I think I want a solid, but I'm not in a rush at all now that I have my color scheme. I can decorate around the colors.

It really is becoming fun!

Wow Judy I really envy you. I'd love to do something here but don't have the funds for it now. Still planning on landscaping this spring. So that will have to do.
SO those bags that hold things that you suck the air out really work. Your the first person that I've heard use one. I'll have to remember that. Thanks.

I was amazed Linda! I also have heard bad things about the bags. Worked for me!

I use those bags too. Really help on closet space with blankets and extra pillows. Wal Mart has them.

I could use some of those in my linen closet. Blankets and pillows take up a lot of room. I'll have to check at Wal-mart on them.
