I just wanted to let you know that I'm not going to be on here today. I started having a stomach ache last night and so I'm not feeling the best. Then I have some arthritis in my hands that flares up once in a while and is very painful and it chose today to act up. It's like a double whammy!! Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel better. Love ya'!!!

Diana....have you ever written about arthritis in your hands? How often does it flare up? I know Rick has a heck of a time with arthritis and the pain. Not sure what I have in my knees, but if your pain is anything like that then my heart is going out to you. I sure hope you get to feeling better soon.

Aww Diana I hope that you are feeling better since you wrote this post this morning. Having to deal with one problem is bad enough. Maybe you ate something that didn't agree with you and that will pass. As far as the artritis goes that can be painful, I have the carpal tunnel in the past and that hurt. Take care of yourself hopefully tomorrow you will feel better..

I hope you're feeling better Diana! I know how painful arthritis is too... I had it in my hip when I was younger.

I'm much better today. I still have a bit of a stomach ache but nothing like yesterday. At least I wasn't sick like everyone else has been. I have a couple of different types of arthritis in my hands. One is where my knuckles are swollen. It doesn't bother me much at all unless you press on my knuckles. My Mom and her sisters all have it. Then I have another kind that makes my hands really stiff when I get up in the morning but it soon works out and I'm fine but every once in a while my hands will ache. Kinda' like a really bad headache only in my hands. I took some arthritis strength Tylenol but it doesn't seem to do very much. At least it doesn't last more than a day or two at a time, maybe 3 or 4 times a year.

I'm not one to complain much when I hurt. My husband used to act like it was never as bad as I let on and he would ignore me so I've just learned not to say much. No one knows how much I hurt but sometimes it gets the best of me. Thanks so much for your concern!!! I'm so much better today!! Love ya'll!!!!

Diana, so glad that you are feeling better today. I can relate to the husband thing.
I had a tummy ache today too, drank 1/2 bottle of Pepto.

I'm glad you're feeling better Diana. I wish you didn't have to go through it at all, even if it isn't very often.

Diana, I have a question if you don't mind:)
Sometimes my hands are really stiff in the mornings. They feel just like you described yours. Now I get that same pain in my wrists, and sometimes in my elbows...it aches but it goes away. Is that arthritis pain, doc?:)

Diana...I hope you are feeling better soon. Here where I live, there are so many sicknesses going around that it's hard to stay healthy! I usually only get sick once in the winter....This is the 4th time I have gotten sick this year...Seems like I just get over it and it comes back. I think we all need to go on a trip to where it's nice and warm....

I would guess that both of you have arthritis but I'm not a doctor and you should probably ask the doctor about sometime when you're in his office. My hands are stiff any time I hold them in the same position for very long, like using a mouse but they're not the aching kind of pain that I was having.

I haven't felt to good since last week. A cold just kept trying to settle in and I think that I was pretty run down from getting ready for company and while they were here. After they left I pretty much did nothing and was pretty much down yesterday. I'm hoping that today I get better. I feel better than yesterday, but just a little.

Thanks, Diana:)

I'm sorry you still feel bad! Try to just rest for a few days and maybe you will feel a little better. I hate it when a cold just drags on and on. Take care of yourself :getwell:

Sounds like most of us are having some issues of some kind. Hope we all get to feeling better pretty soon....this sucks.
