Poor guy! His lung has collapsed three times, he's broken bones, cut off a large portion of his thumb, and now he has mono. My poor mom is going to be a nervous wreck before he turns 18...

Judy, he doesn't have to stay home unless he is feeling bad. He just has to make sure no one eats or drinks after him.

Betsi, he will be 18 in less than a month.

Awwwww, Angie, hope he gets better very, very soon!!!! Wish your mom well, too. Sometimes it can be almost as hard on the caregiver. (((((Debbie)))))

Thanks everyone. He is a little better-just really tired and throat is still pretty bad! He has been to school one day in two weeks.

It takes a while for your strength to get built back up after mono. Poor guy.
