You're all invited to come join me!

I'm taking vacation next week, to spend time with my g-kids and get some "spring cleaning" done. I have got to work in the attic before it gets too hot and I have two closets that are begging to be sorted and straighened.

I'm very excited that Abby and Sarah are coming in Friday night for the week. We plan to take all our bikes and go to the park one day and have a picnic. One day, we plan to go to the Houston Zoo since I haven't been in about 25 years and Sarah and Bree have never been. And, we'll go to the Houston Livestock Show one day to see the animals and play at the carnival.

My project group is going to the Rodeo on the 21st - to see Brooks & Dunn. Our VP has taken us for the last four years. Hubby and I really enjoy going. Today at lunch, I went and bought a new pair of lace-up "cowboy" boots to fit my bad foot, since I couldn't get it into any of my pull-ons. I wanted to splurge and get new jeans, but didn't want to take time and try them on.

It sounds like you have quite a week planned!!!! We have spring break next week too, but Jaci will have to work. She'll be lucky if she even gets one full day off. I'll still have to babysit Karlie so we don't have anything planned at all.

I would love to go and see Brooks and Dunn!!! I love their songs!!! Lucky duck!!! And you'll have a lot of fun with your granddaughters!!!

Sounds like your spring break is going to be busy and fun!!!

Our spring break starts on the 23rd but I have puppies due the 22nd/23rd so I'll be staying home. Ricky will have spring break from school, but not from Ivy Tech. He'll still have to get up and go there and Rick of course will have to work.

I've started mine this afternoon! I've been washing walls and cleaning the carpet to the basement stairs with my Bissell Little Green Machine...

I think tomorrow the base boards will be dusted and washed down.

Oh, Diana, I'm sure you would enjoy a break, but I would love to be home with my babies every day. I'm hoping for good weather next week, but there are a few places we can go and stay inside. I hope to "slip out" a little early today and do my grocery shopping. We're still eating healthy at my house and I have no snacks.

We got a few things picked up last night around the house. I'm a clean freak and Laura is a clutter queen. She had several boxes stacked in the hallway (Christmas stuff, winter jackets, etc.), procrastinating on taking them back to her house.

I'll put Sarah's portabed in my room. She sleeps well for about 10 hours through the night and doesn't bother Harold. Abby will sleep in with Christian.

Ugh, I just raked up 5 bags mostly of monkey balls. I am sweaty, my back is killing me. I am not even finished! Well for today I am :)

Time for a glass of wine and a soak in the tub...:confuse2:
