Karlie had a birthday a couple of weeks ago but Dae Lynn has put off making plans because of the weather and other things. Well, I've had a couple of gifts for her since before her birthday and I decided that I'd give her one of them today so she could be enjoying it.

Here she is with her present. It's a Tinkerbell dress!!! And here she is with it on. And a picture of her wings but there was a problem.........

.......the wings didn't REALLY fly!!!! Papa tried to make it better by flying her around the house, but she was still really disappointed that the wings didn't fly. I kept trying to explain that they were just pretend but she just kept saying that she wanted to fly. Just as I was getting ready to take a picture of her sad little face she perked up and started waving her arms all around and took off through the house on her own....................She finally learned how to fly!!!!!

I told her how sorry I was..........over and over!!!! It was so cool when she finally spread out her arms and ran all over the house pretending that she was flying. I wish that I had a video of that!!! The last picture I posted was actually suppose to be of her sad face, but she caught on in a flash and that's the picture I got instead.

Too cute! Kids say and do the most ADORABLE things. :) Brendon and I used to volunteer at Coalition for Kids. We always went together so when he went alone one day, one of the kids ran up to him, deeply concerned, and said "Where's your wife? Did she DIE?" LOL Cracked me up when Brendon told me.

Karlie looks precious. Maybe next year you can splurge and get her the real thing. ;):D

Oh, Diana!!! You are so blessed with that precious little girl. I love the second picture in the first set.

She's pretty smart to figure out that she can fly by herself!

You can certainly see her fustration in not being able to fly in that picture. Having Papa "fly" her around the house like that wasn't what she had in mind!!!

She is a doll and says the cutest things. Yesterday she told Glen that she is going "to get taller than herself". We've been talking about how tall she's getting and she came up with that!!

Then on Sunday we ate at a chinese restaurant and they put crackers on the table to go with the egg drop soup. The waitress set three bowls of crackers down to be shared by all of us and Karlie pulled a bowl in front of her and said to the little girls across the table "Don't worry they'll bring yours soon!!" She absolutely keeps us in stitches!!
