View Full Version : Remember My Arm Hurting????

Well it finally quit. It started back in February and felt like a pinched nerve or something. I never did go to the Dr. like I should have, but it quit sometime last week I think. Isn't that something...we usually know when something starts hurting, but don't realize when it quit...lol.

Anyway...it's so weird...I probably should have gone to the Dr. to see if it was a pinched nerve because even though it know longer hurts...my thumb, pointing finger and middle finger (on the same arm) right on the ends feel numb or like they've been asleep or something. Hubby said it's probably because I'm on the computer so much....LOL.

Hope it doesn't last long, it's not bothersome too bad, but can get annoying when I write.

Janet, you really should have gone to the dr. for that. Sometimes things like that can become permanent and I would hate for that to happen to you. Please go to the dr. if it happens again.

I really need to go instead of putting it off everytime something comes up. I just always figure it will quit in a few days, or I'll feel better in a day or so. I just don't like going for something that may be so simple, but then I'm not a Dr. so I wouldn't know if it was simple or not. I'm always so quick to tell others they should get to the Dr. to at least have it checked....I need to follow my own advice.

No...I don't have any pain...just a little numbness in my thumb and finger. I will probably give it a bit longer. I've also started lifting small hand weights and it seems to be helping a little bit.

You better go to the Doctor before you start lifting weights. Sounds similar to my condition when I had the nerve entrapment. It can be serious. Have you lost any strength? I didn't have any pain just numbness, tingling and loss of strenght,
