My youngest granddaughter, Kassidy, is 6 1/2, which is just such a cute age. I have had all 3 kids sleep over, just the girls, and once, Jessie and Kassidy came down to Brooklyn and stayed over. Jessie had something to take care of down there.

Saturday was Kassidy's first sleepover at my house with just the two of us. Mackenzie slept over many times when she was younger. Brandon still has no interest in having a Brandon-Grandma overnighter.

Kass packed up her stuffed yorkie and beagle, with their bed, and Daddy brought her over on Saturday. We had a lot to do!

First, we had dinner - at 3:00 in the afternoon! I made her chicken nuggets and fries, and myself, tuna and veggies. She promptly needed a tuna and tomato sandwich of her own. I was cutting her sandwich, which she made herself by layering tuna and tomato in her own pattern. The knife accidentally nicked her little finger.

Mommy had to be called after we examined the cut under the light, and bandaged it. She told Jessie "Grandma is not very good with cutting!," and Mommy was on alert to be ready to look at her finger as soon as she came home.

I think Kass is going to have "Grandma is not good with a knife" put on my tombstone. Sh said it often! Actually, she has a great sense of humor. On the way out with her Dad, she turned around and said "Grandma - you are not very good with a knife." We had a good laugh after the 3rd time she said it.

We also made perfume for her, me, Mackenzie and Mommy. Then, we made soap for everybody. She had 100% computer rights. I had to close it down a couple of times. She was on it for too long.

We watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua - an Emmy winner for sure! Then, decisions needed to be made about which one of Grandma's pajamas Kassidy would wear (and take home) We decided to wear green tee shirts to bed so we matched. I have very few pj shirts left since all 3 of them insist on taking them home. They are old tee shirts, and very soft. I'll have to replenish soon.
They also like taking my socks home. ????

All in all, we had a wonderful time. She is a precious little person - very bright, very busy and inquisitive. She is also a cuddler, which is so yummy! She told Jessie she is not sleeping over with her brother and sister anymore, only by herself.

She's just adorable! Look at those beautiful big brown eyes! I'm glad you got a chance to keep her by herself..it makes them feel so special. It's so sweet that they want your shirt to sleep in:)

Oh Judy she is soooo cute!!! I wanted a little girl so bad. I just bet you two had a great time. So funny about grandma and the knife....lol. You're gonna have to buy t-shirts and have "I slept at Grandma's" printed on it...lol

Making special memories with a totally adorable little girl - lucky you! My g-daughters do the same thing with my shirts and socks. They never bring sleeping clothes because they know they'll sleep in one of my t-shirts.

It sounds like you and Kassidy had a great time!! She is such a beautiful little girl and I'm sure that she gives you lots of things to laugh about! I really like the t-shirt and socks idea but if I did something like that pretty soon I wouldn't have anything to wear!!! You're such a good and fun Grandmother!!!

Thank you Mandy, but that's Annie. She and Max have the same coloring and coat type. We have to see if it's a small dog - then it's Annie. If it's a bigger dog - it's Max!
