I've come to realize over the past few months, that I really am an optimist...for the most part. I will worry and stress WAY too much, but once a decision is made, I am generally happy even if it isn't necessarily what I wanted at first. My internship is one example. I really wanted an internship at the VA, and I was really worried about my future when I didn't get it, but as soon as I interviewed for the in-home therapist position, I knew it would be a great place to work. I was instantly just as excited about this new opportunity as I was about the VA...maybe even more so. I feel like I am discovering myself more and more every day because of all the new challenges before me. It's a great feeling to be not only content, but excited about the future.
So which are you? Optimist or pessimist?

I'm mostly an optimist.
I am an optomist. I think a lot of it is a choice. You can see the glass either half empty or half full. Might as well see it half full.
As a matter of fact, why only half full? How about 3/4?

I am such an optimist! I see no reason to make a worst case scenario out of everything. I also believe that everything happens for a reason. We might not have a clue what the reason is, or agree with it... but I've found out through the years that if I have the right attitude, things turn out fine. You know the old saying..."Make the best of what you've got" Bad grammar, lol, but that's how we say it down here;)
I'm so glad you're excited about your internship!! It feel so good to feel so good:D

Judy and Besti, I completely agree. I think it's all about making a choice to be happy with what you have. 3/4 full sounds great to me! LOL
