Summer Is Almost Here!

The first day of summer will be here Sunday...along with Father's Day. The weather is proving that this is true...so far.

Today...the high is suppose to be 93 degrees with a heat index of 100. I walked out this morning to get the morning paper and just about lost my breath and my glasses steamed up. It is sooooo muggy today, so it looks like I will be staying in for the most part.

That sounds like how our weather has been, very muggy and hot. Today it's rainy but it's still pretty warm. It will probably be really muggy when it quits raining. Dae Lynn, Damon, and Karlie are going camping this evening and tomorrow so I hope the rain stops.

I hope so too, no fun camping in the rain. It has just been so hot here....not as hot as Texas...lol...but we're in the 90's now. The news is calling for storms tonight. I heard on TV and on the radio that some of these storms could be dangerously severe. I sure hope not.

Yes the weather is the pits here as well, I went in the backyard with the furbutts and they couldn't even take it...
We had tornado warnings this morning and quite a nasty storm, but the sun is shining now and I believe it's in the 90's....so I cranked up the airconditioning and am hanging out here.

It seems I almost blew up another site this morning.....:p
All is well now though....I guess I'll just hide out here until the smoke clears....:tongue001:

The weather here is lousy since April it has been raining non stop. June is almost over. Today we had sunshine for the first time.. It was in 70's suppose to rain again tomorrow, and maybe on Sunday. Next week they say 80's and sunny. Yaya.. lets see ...

Guess the storms are getting closer. Tornado warnings just a couple counties east of us and tornado watches for most all central Indiana until 3:00 am. There is no way I can stay awake that long...so hopefully all will be well throughout the night.

What is up with all of this rain? We have some more coming through this morning and more is expected this evening!!! My husband is still waiting for the fields to dry out so he can get things planted!!!! It's so muggy out you can almost cut it with a knife!!!!

Survived the storms last night. I do have to admit...it got a little scary when the first storms went through....so windy I could swear the house shook. No damage though. Went outside this morning to check and again...just like you said Diana, it was sooo muggy you could cut it with a knife.

Ricky will be home sometime after noon today. I can't wait.

It rained today again and will for the next few days. We have a short summer as it is.. Please send some of the sun to the Northeast.. lol

I would so love to send you some Texas sunshine and HEAT! It will top 100 for the rest of the week. It is not even the end of June. OMG! July and AUGUST are our hottest months. We are going to MELT!

Woke up to pouring down rain and so muggy you could slice it with a knife. Suppose to get to 89 today...with high humidity. Guess I'll clean or something.......maybe.....

its 80 here janet and my a/c at the house isn't working that great, i have the a/c guy coming today after 3:00, $60.00 bucks!! just to come to the house... WOW,, i wish i made that kind of money $$$$$$$$
I told my MIL if it gets to hot to take MIcah over her house, she said it was fine, she has it down on 66,, it's blowing cool air but not cold like it should... always something !!!!
