Well ladies, it's 10 minutes till 9 AM and I've already got the family room cleaned and put back together (looks so nice) and the kitchen is all done. I love it when the appliances shine!! I also have the living room done. I should have it all done in another couple of hours. I had already done a couple of the rooms so now it's just light cleaning in them. Then it looks like I'll be able to clean myself up, and do whatever I want this afternoon and this evening. May call a friend and go out to eat or run to a mall. Then I'll have all day tomorrow to read, sew, or just enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

First time I've been really pumped to get things done in a very l o n g time.:)

What's everyone else doing this weekend???

It's 11:30 AM and I'm all done. My poor old back is killing me. Thought I would take time to check the posts and cool down a bit before I get myself all beautified!! LOLOL I have all this time now to do what I want. But I'll probably have to take a nap first....:D

Well, got a little later start than you, we went to a high school football game last night in a neighboring town.

Have to finish the laundry, clean the master suite, and the office. Will probably take me most of the rest of the day.

Then finish up my bible lesson for tomorrow morning.

My daughter wants me to go to Kohls with her later, will have to fit that in.

Typical Saturday when I'm not fishing that is. ;)

I'm completely done now. I may run over to Kohl's myself. I need jeans really bad. I just hate to buy them, because I want to take the weight off first, but I have to have some to wear now. So maybe a couple pair will be okay for now.

Good luck everyone getting the weekend chores done!

Our small town had Homecoming this weekend. We had beautiful weather and so lots of people were there. We always have a parade which includes our fire trucks, kids on bicycles, motorcycle riders, the homecoming queen float, a few people running for an office in the next election, the shriners and their toys. It's pretty small town, but I love it! We have mini-reunions at the school so you can see your classmates, turtle races, kids games, and etc. We had a small carnival and lots of food! So no housework for me this weekend!!!

I try to get everything done through the week so that weekends are all play!

We took the Yorkies to a dog fair today that benefited the SPCA and then for a nice walk at a 'pick your own' apple orchard and a late lunch at a favorite restaurant. Last but not least, apple pie for dinner/dessert!

A great day, and the furkids are exhausted!

Well, I didn't get finished with the housework, but did go to Kohl's with my daughter & found some nice things. :D

This evening my hubby and I went with our 21 year old daughter to see a movie "The Departed". A young man that she is trying to discourage asked her to go to see the movie, so she invited us and told him that we would meet him there. She has outright told him she considers him a friend and no more, but he's persistant. He broke up with his fiance a couple of months ago, and we think he's one of those needy guys who wants to have a girlfriend. We've known him and his family for years, so it's not like he's a bad kid or anything, she just does not and never will like him the way he wants her to.

Will have to finish my chores tomorrow afternoon. :( and still have two yorkies to bathe. Life must go on.....

Sounds like lots of fun, especially since the weather has been so good...I hope it was good there.

I normally try to get everything done during the week, but I've been a real slacker as of late. Since the boys were going to be gone for the weekend, I took advantage of it and now everything looks so clean. That will all change once they get home around 6:00 PM...LOL
