I'm leavin' on a jet plane...

....but I'll be back on the 5th!! Mike and I fly out of Dallas Tue morning to go see our son and dil in Seattle. I have been twice since they moved there, but this is Mike's first trip. I'm so glad to have a traveling buddy:p

The weather is supposed to be really hot up there..RECORD highs!! Can you believe that??? We leave a "cool" front in Texas (high 80's) to go to Seattle to be even HOTTER:eek: Just my luck, lol! Actually my dil said we would go to the islands ?? and it will be up to 20 degrees cooler there. I think she means the San Juan islands where the whales live!

Anyway, hot or not, I get to see my kids...and that's all I care about:D Y'all hold down the fort and don't miss me too much, LOL!!! Love ya!!!!

Oh, Betsi, you have a wonderful time!!! It sounds like you're going to get some sight seeing in as well as see your family. It sounds so nice!! I can't imagine having my kids live so far from me! I know that you're thrilled to get to go and see them. Thanks for letting us know that you're going to be gone. It keeps us from worrying about you!! You have a good time!!!
