I went to town this morning after my bus route. After doing my banking, I went to Wal Mart to pick up a few items including a prescription. I got home and put everything away. A little while later the phone rings....it's Wal Mart. I had dropped my prescription in the parking lot and someone turned it in. Thank God for honest people.

When I got home...I noticed a tear in my bag, but even then...didn't notice the prescription missing. If they hadn't called...I probably wouldn't have thought about it until time to take it. Geez.....am I losin' it?

No, you're not losing it. You just hadn't thought about the prescription yet.

Losing it is when you can't remember buying clothes for a little girl just a couple of weeks ago.................as in my case. Dae Lynn was talking about clothes that I bought for Karlie and I really don't remember what I got or even that I bought them. I did finally remember that I had gotten her some socks!!! So..................I believe that I'm the one losing it!!!!!!

Of course you're not losing it!! I do stuff like that all of the time. Ummm...maybe we're BOTH losing it!

Seriously, give yourself a break. You have been under so much stress with your mom, Ricky driving back and forth to school, and school starting for you. Too much on your mind, my friend!!

You are definitely not losing it. Last summer I went to the grocery store, one that is like 25 min. away, got home, phone rings, I left my wallet in the shopping cart, like Janet said, thank God for honest people. Someone turned it in to the office and my phone # happened to be in it. I could not believe I did that. Oh well:p

You're not losing it, we all do that sort of thing from time to time, and we're all normal right?!

Now I lost it last time we went to San Antonio. I bought a bottle of Mexican vanilla at the market and when we got to Karen's apartment, I put it on her desk near where my bags were. When we got home and I unpacked, no vanilla. Karen is a very uncluttered person, and she cleaned after we left. The vanilla was no longer on her desk, or anywhere in her apartment, but it's not in our bags either. Vanishing vanilla. I really lost it!!

That's about where I am too, Diana!

If you are losing it Janet, you must have a sense of humor about it! It's the only way to remain sane. Or maybe I am no longer sane either. I forget what sanity feels like.....

Okay, let me make you feel a little better Janet....(sorry this is long, don't know how to condense)

Yesteday was a very busy day. Worked in Corpus Christi, a couple of hours away. Got home around 5:30 had to transfer a bunch of pictures and put them on a flash drive for someone a church. Had trouble with the camera, battery died while trying to transfer. Got to Wednesday evening Bible class around 6:45. Last night was the last night of our Summer Series, our equivalent of Vacation Bible School and a dear friend was teaching and needed some help setting up. There were a couple of young ladies (Ashley and Caitlan) there who I put to work in our workroom putting some materials together, while I rushed to find some other needed items. Someone else ask me to give them some advise on how to put glitter on something.

While I was standing right outside the workroom, our daughter Melissa arrived and asked if I'd seen Ashley, she had something for her. I thought for a second and told her I thought she was down the hall in another classroom where she usually teaches the little ones and then I went about my chores.

Ashley was just a few feet away in the workroom where I'd left her. When I realized what I'd done, I felt so dumb. I ran to find Melissa but she was in her class and it had already started, so I texted her, and she and Ashley got together after serves. How ditsy can you get???:confuse2:

I don't think that with all of us around the same age that you have to worry about feeling lonely!!!! I so love this group of women!!! It just makes my day to visit with everyone!!

It would be so nice if we could just get together and have a cup of coffee together every morning!!! I would just love that! We'd start each day with a lot of laughter!!!

I had a bay fishing tournament today, and was it ever hot!!!! There was hardly any wind. We were on a small (4 person) fishing boat all day with no shade. I wade fished some and it felt good to be standing in the water instead of an the hot boat.

I feel completely exhaused!!!

I think I would be exhausted for the rest of the week! I know you had fun - did you catch any good fish???

Marilyn

I caught a hard head and a very small redfish. The fishing was not good. Not sure if it's due to the salinity of the bay or what. No rain affects the bay's, too.

Hey Everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that it is ME who is "losing it", not Janet.

I restarted my computer this evening and a little icon at the top of the screen was blinking after the restart. It was annoying me (it doesn't take much anymore to annoy me. LOL!) I tried clicking it, but couldn't figure out why it was blinking.

I finally realized that it was my bluetooth icon on the computer so I thought, "Well, I'll stop that blinking, I'll just turn off the bluetooth".

So I did, I turned it off.

Next, I go about my business on the computer and all of a sudden, my keyboard isn't working. I'm thinking, "Well, great, something is wrong with my keyboard, what is wrong with the darned keyboard"

Then, slowly and painfully, I remember that a few months ago, I spilled a drink on my wired keyboard and it wouldn't work. I had an old wireless keyboard with my laptop, so I got it out, put in new batteries, and synced it with the BLUETOOTH on my computer and suddenly I realize.....

The blinking bluetooth was telling me the batteries on my keyboard were low and needed to be changed.

Don't you know I felt stupid!!! I used this wireless keyboard with my laptop for about 3 years before I got my desktop computer (2 years ago). I don't know how many times I saw that little blinking icon and knew it was time to change the batteries.

GEESH! I'm LOSING IT!!! :D

I'm not "losing it" because I never had it. I've never had a good memory, so I work with lists and reminders. It's a normal thing for me not to remember what a blinking light is. If I could just get Harold to stop saying, "I told you that" and "We talked about that". I tell him just to play along with me and repeat things again.

No, I don't think we're "losing it". I think we just have too much to remember at our ages!

LOL, I have some friends here who would like to join us!!!

There is a group of ladies from our church who all live at the same assisted living place. They really like being around others they have known for decades. Since it is difficult for them to travel, we have a mini church service at the assisted living center for them on Sunday afternoons.

We would definitely be happier with others we enjoy spending time with!!
