I third that!!!! Three days off spoiled us, and I'm ready for more time off!! After being in computer training for a week, I feel overwhelmed. There are so many places that I need to be, but have to make trips to specific customers, and there has been no time to plan my trips to more effectively utilize my time. I really need to followup on a lot of things and make appointments with a lot of people. I also need to lose weight to be more presentable to my customers. UH!

It's Roxann's wedding weekend, so I'm frayed. She has an outside ceremony planned and there's a 60% chance of rain on Saturday. I know we need rain, but I'm hoping it waits until after 6p. If it rains in the morning, it will be blistering humid. At least EVERYBODY will be glistening!
I haven't had to do much for this wedding, except write checks. The bride has called on her sisters and maids to do most everything. The hardest thing I've done was find myself an "outside" dress and shoes to wear in her color.
Ryan's (new SIL) parents are driving in today (from Tennessee) and we'll meet them for dinner. I've met the mom (she flew in for the shower), but not the dad and Harold hasn't meet either.
That's it - all four will be married and hopefully settled down! There's talk of a couple more g-kids in a couple of years. Of course, Jeff and Emily still talk about having one more. I could end up with 11 g-kids. I'll never get to quit work!

Roxann is our problem child and we actually thought she'd never get married. Ryan seems to be a very patient and understanding guy. She's been a real bridezilla and actually had one bridesmaid drop out. She's changed her colors 3 times (red & black, pink & azalea, and finally navy & indigo blue), argued with her MIL about ministers and not getting married in church. She was actually upset because one of her bridesmaids found out she was pregnant and is definitely showing.
If I hear, "It's MY wedding" one more time - there won't be a bride! Maybe that's why I haven't done much to help out.

Sandy sounds like you'll have an exciting weekend.... :) Then you can relax. I don't blame you for letting her do most of the work....if I had to argue or get my feelings hurt...I wouldn't do anything either.
No wedding is perfect, she'll find this out soon...lol. We can plan all we want, but there is always that 'one' thing.

Yes, Janet, and God help the person who causes that one thing!

I'm sure that you'll be ready for Saturday to be over, Sandy!!! Make an appointment and get a massage next week and pamper yourself until then!! Any mother that makes it through a daughter's wedding deserves to be pampered!!!!! Good luck!!!!

Happy wedding weekend Sandy! I can't believe it might rain after the drought you've had! I hope everything goes beautifully!

I hope that you don't get the rain until after the wedding. That would surely not make your daughter happy.
