What a Friday night. Jen my high school senior had senior night at the Football game. She was in Golf. Any way Senior fall sport kids got introduced at the ball game with their parents. I started having sharp sharp pains on my right side.
I made it though the introductions then told Gary I wasn't feeling so hot so he took me to the emergency rm. It hurt so bad like stabbing sharp pain.
They took blood, urine, and a cat scan. Gave me 3 different kinds on meds.
one was morphine,. Then i got indigestion. Every thing came back normal.
My pain finally went away. Its still there today but not nearly as bad.
Cat Scan didn't show any kidney stones, no appendisitis (sp), no blocked bowel.
Thank goodness. Dr said it could have been a sist on my ovary that burst.
I don't want to go though that again. Now I'm just tired today.
When it rains it pours. Thanks for reading.
Aww Linda what a scare and so sorry you had all that pain. The good news it was nothing and thankfully it passed. Never a dull moment in life.. So happy that you are feeling much better.. :)

I'm glad you're feeling better Linda...what a scare when I read the title to this thread. Do you still have your gall bladder? I would go back and see if they can find out for sure what was wrong. You take care of yourself girlfriend.

Thanks Girls,
And Janet no I don't have my gallbalder. That was taken out last Sept. That was the start of having pieces of me removed. LOL Oct. last year I had my uterus removed. So who knows maybe it's my ovaries. Feeling much better today.
Thank You for letting me share.

I would get to my GYN to see if he/she thinks it is an ovarian cyst. Did you have fever? I would also see my family doc to be checked out. ERs can miss things. Could also have been adhesions from previous surgeries.

Linda, I'm so behind on posts.......but I wanted to make sure that you're still alright. What a scare you had!!! Good news that they didn't find anything but disappointing that they didn't get it pinpointed. Hopefully you'll never have any problems like that again. If it did happen to be an ovary, did they give you any antibiotics? You may want to check with your doctor on that.
I hope you are feeling 100% Linda! That sounds scary! How is everything now?

Thanks again everyone. My family doc didn't want to see me because the scan didn't show anything. Will go see my ob/gyn in Dec. My family doc said it could be
scar tissue from my hyster. Hope he's right.

Hopefully it won't happen, but if you have anymore problems I wouldn't wait until December.
