Here's a few of our cruise pictures. I didn't take my camera - so the pix are from my phone and are not the best.
1. This is the view from the cruise ship looking at one of the ports - I think it was Princess Cays - which is Princess Cruises private island
2. St. Maarten's - this island is 1/2 owned by the Netherlands and 1/2 by the French
3. There are two cruise ships parked side by side - ours is on the right
4. Some pretty water while touring St. Maarten's - our cruise ship is in the background.

Thanks Gina! I'm glad to be back. We had a really good time with Gary's sisters, brothers-in-laws, and nieces. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the cruise very much. It was way too much walking for Gary- our room was in the front of the ship and the dining rooms were in the back -so it was just too much walking for him 3 times a day. He had to take lots of naps because he was just so tired all the time. We had 4 port stops and he was only able to get off at 2 of them because he was just so tired from all the walking.
We also had 3 very rough days at sea - the swells and the motion of the ship was quite severe. We had nausea patches, so we didn't get sick - but the motion of the ship was very bad for walking.
He and I don't like having to "dress" for dinnner - although we sure enjoyed the food!!! The ship was very nice, the service was so attentive, but for some reason, we are just not "cruise people".
Gary and his sisters played lots of cards, visited, told stories, and they had a great time - but we need to have a great time with them in Arkansas or some place other than a cruise ship. It's just too hard for Gary. Also, he caught a NASTY gastrointestional bug and that is very yuky!
There are lots of wonderful things about a cruise - we've been on 3 - but Gary said this will be his last. I will only go again if I have a really good reason - like a 4 Women Talk cruise! ;)

Beautiful pictures of beautiful places!! Thanks for showing them to us.
We don't have to go on a 4WT cruise you know. We are a creative bunch...let's come up with something else:D

The pictures were beautiful Gayle...thank you so much for sharing them with us. I would love to go on a cruise (I think) at least once. I wanted to go on a Disney cruise when Ricky was younger but neither of the guys wanted to go so we didn't.
I would just like to see someplace other than here. I've been to Florida and the states in between here and there, Tulsa, Dallas, and Chicago, but I think that's about it. Where ever the 4WT meet is...please make sure it's not too awful expensive.
Gayle, would it make it easier for Gary to have one of those Hoveround type vehicles? If you've ever watched the Little People on TLC the dad rides this little powered vehicle in hotels, cruises and all over. Just wondered if Gary would like one of those to make life a little easier.
What beautiful pictures Gayle! I'm sorry your cruise wasn't great, but it is good to have you back!

Oooooo, the cruise pictures make me want to go sooooo badly!!! The water is so blue and.......well, just beautiful!!! I'm so sorry that the water was rough and it made it hard to get around. I'm sure it was very hard on Gary. We just don't realize how easily he gets tired. I loved seeing the pictures though!! I'm going to have to go on a cruise before I get too old to enjoy it!!
You know, we don't have to go on a 4WT cruise. We can plan something else if that's what everyone want to do. Since so many of you are in Texas, would we rather do something down your way? Or would you prefer somewhere else? Or we could still do both.....a meet-up and later a cruise for those that still want to go.
Gayle I am sorry that Gary had a hard time with all that walking and then to catch a bug .. Poor guy.. I do understand why you don't enjoy the cruises. At least you got to spend time with his family and that was nice.. I hope that Gary is feeling better.. So happy to have you back.. :)
