This year I am looking forward to Christmas as we are all going to Canada Whistler for two weeks over Christmas period.

I am sooo excited the family- hubby- son- daughter- son-in law and granddaughter will be skiing but my grandson who is nearly two and myself will be enjoying the sights and I am hoping the shops.

My hubby has been before with work but the rest of us have never been.
Have been shopping for warmer clothing just hope they are OK still will have to shop there if not;).
The only thing not looking forward to a 10 hour flight with my grandson it will be an overnighter so hope he will sleep.
Any tips for the cold will be appreciated?.
Oh and just heard the hotel changes hands the day we arrive so hope that will not affect us in any way.

That's my plans for Christmas what are yours???.

Wow!! What a fun Christmas!! I wish while you were here you'd come and meet all of us but we're all pretty scattered across the US for that!!!

I recommend that everyone have a good coat and ski pants. Long johns, good gloves, and a hat. You'll also want ski goggles. E-bay is a good place to get those things sometimes too, especially the coats and ski pants. A good ski shop will carry those things too but they can be expensive. Also, make sure you put on sunscreen!!!!

Have a good time and take lots of pictures for us!!!

Thank you all, have just brought some boots from eBay and a few more pairs of thermals.
My husband is on whistlers webcam each evening with the snow up date just as long as its stays for him to ski.
I think the weather all over is a little out of sink one day its warm here the next cold wet and windy:( .
Will post pictures when we get back. xxx

Hi Judy
It is all very exciting and we are on sleeps countdown with my 5 year old granddaughter, we leave UK on the early evening of the 16Th December and will be there for 2 weeks. Must admit I hate the cold but was fortunate enough to have had a summer break so this is my husbands turn.
