It snowed this morning!!! Glen came in and woke me up because he knew that I woudln't want to miss seeing it!! It was really big flakes......probably some were two to two and a half inches across!!! It was so pretty!! He move the big plants from in front of the living room window so we could sit and watch the snow!! We have some accumulation but not much. It looks funny to look at the front yard and see the flowers still blooming and snow all around and on top of them!! I love it but I'm really not ready for snow quite yet!! Oh well, the persimmons had a spoon in them.

I'm so jealous Diana! I can't believe we still have no snow here... well, it has snowed but not to stay. Today we are getting close to breaking a temperature record. Right now the temperature is 11 degrees (51.8 F) and the record is 12.1 (53.8 F). The normal daytime high at this time of year is about -3 degrees (26 F). I want to put up our Christmas lights outside in the next couple of days but it just doesn't feel right without snow! :(

Oh, wow, Diana. I can't imagine flakes that big. When it does snow here the flakes are very tiny.

Yesterday it was in the high 80's, but it rained at 5:30 this morning when a cold front was blowing in. It's was really cool outside all day today. Tomorrow the low is in the 40's and the high in the 60's. Brrrrrr....

Will have to wear long sleeves tomorrow or short sleeves and a light jacket.

That does sound so pretty Diana! That hubby of yours is sure a keeper! I can picture the two of your sitting on the couch together, watching the beautiful snowfall.

We went to Wichita yesterday and there was an area that still had snow on the ground!!! I had heard that further west they had more snow. Jaci drove to town the morning that it snowed and she had quite a bit on her pickup but it barely snowed in town. The kids couldn't believe that we had that much snow!!!

Marilyn, The snow was a damp snow and when it falls the flakes clump together and it makes larger flakes. Sometimes they'll fall really fast and sometimes they'll drift down very pretty. This snow was very pretty!!
