Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving today!!!

Hubby and I will have dinner with mom today at the AL and then tomorrow we will have our family get together with the kids, g-kids and mom again.

Yesterday was our 15 yr anniverary, didn't do anything, maybe later after the holiday.

Enjoy all the food and most importantly being with family.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too and all of my 4WT friends!! Glen's planning on working today. Usually we're already done getting the crops in by this time but this year has been so wet that we have barely started. That's just the way farming is and I understand because that's our income that's still in the field. I know that Glen will feel a lot better when everything's in the grain bins. We were invited to my son's house for dinner but they are having Tammy's family over and even though I get along with everyone I would still feel akward being there. The kids all have their own things planned out for today so Glen and I are planning just a simple Thanksgiving meal this evening when he comes in from working. It will be really different for us because we're used to have all of our family here for the whole day. Oh well, next year we'll go back to normal!! I hope that everyone has a wonderful day today and remember's to thank God for their many blessings!!!

Congratulations on your anniversary and Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a wonderful day filled with loved ones, and of course, that the feast turned out fabulous!

I only fudged my pecan brittle, the sugar was temperamental once I got it boiling. I scrapped it since it was only meant for a decorative topping for the pumpkin cheesecake.
Instead, I baked the cheesecake in a heart shaped dish, pushed some pecans into the sour cream/nutmeg/sugar/cinnamon topping then grabbed a Christmas tree cookie cutter and sprinkled cinnamon sugar.

Honestly, I put way too much thought into it. That cheesecake really didn't need all that sparkle to shine, that recipe is a keeper

It felt good and definitely in the holiday spirit, Brads grandmother didn't have to worry about the Thanksgiving headaches. We brought the food to her and cleaned up for her. I am going to bring her over some more ham and peanut butter fudge tomorrow when we pick her up for grocery shopping.

My first Thanksgiving as a wife and as a vegetarian!

Good job Becks! You are such a loving person!

Happy Anniversary Lynne!

I had such a nice day. It was Jess, Steve, the children, me and my ex. He is moving up here soon. He bought a foreclosure around the corner from Jessie.
(She is not happy about it!)

We had turkey and all the fixin's. Delicious! The kids were so adorable, I got to spend time with them all, which is the best way to celebrate Thanksgiving for me.
Jessie and I cleaned up, which gave us a chance to visit, then we fed and took care of the puppies, who are doing well now.

All in all, a perfect Thanksgiving:)

Sounds like everyone had a great time - I know I did! Well now, next up is Christmas . My classes are finished this Friday - but we still have lots of papers to grade and meetings and things that have to be done. I'll be finished around the 18th.
